glad to see that Garnett is finally getting some reps. He's missed like two weeks.....

Joint practice #1 is in the books.

49ers started slow on both sides but salvaged their practice during the two-minute drills.
Trent Taylor was a bright spot for the offense throughout. Had several catches.

"If they do anything that would get them ejected in a game, Kyle and I have already agreed on that," O'Brien said. "Anything that would get them ejected in a game will get them ejected from practice."
Hopkins was benched for the remainder of practice while Ward continued to practice.
so Kyle didn't give a s**t anyway? Lol

Is Person working with the #1's? That doesn't shock me at all since he's gotten the most reps at RG.

That's the new technique...let the DE pancake you, pull him to the ground as you fall, hold him while on your back...opens up immediate passing lanes and ensures the DE is not a threat. Genius.
I was 5' 8" and 185 in high school as a LBer and I remember we had a bunch of guys sitting out for injury and the flu so they stuck me at DT for some of the scout team stuff. That was my move when I got doubled by the C and G. I pulled those Effers down with me and created a big pile right in the middle of the line on those running plays, lol.

held his own on another rep...I would NEVER expect him to manhandle JJ every one on one drill lol.
Well some people do or else they need to troll

Looks like it was a run blocking drill. I'd be very disappointed if MM was firing out like that on a pass pro set.

It's true. They're not gonna hand starting reps to a guy who's sat out for 2 weeks just cause he comes back. He's got to earn his way back - same with Cooper. They need to earn that starting spot. Not just show up. Cooper hasn't gotten any reps in OTA's or Mini camp or TC so far so he's got to earn it for the #1's.

"Steamy Houston" LOLOL!!!
I was there for a week 2 weeks ago. I thought it was gonna be worse than here at home in Bama - nope. The same as it's been here since May. Mid 90's with 70-90% humidity on any given day.......
Just wait, Matt. It's awesome when it's 94 degrees out and it rains 1" in an hour and the temp never goes down.....The rain evaporates almost as fast as it falls.

Brandon Weeden TD pass to Jester Weah.
Not impressive, some of 49ers 2nd-team D are actually 3rd-team D in today's practice.
