The word we are looking for, gentlemen, is "susceptible". The secondary is susceptible to the occasional "OH, f**k ME!" moment. We want to try and limit that.

The "Ohh I thought he was your guy...good thing he can't catch!" moments.

This is one of the worst secondary's in the league. It's crazy the amount of open dudes there are. Thankfully opposing teams can't catch.

One of the worst in the league is a stretch, but I think the secondary will be fine once they get a few more games under their belt under Saleh.

Harrison was just plain wide open at least twice that I saw.

bad drop saved a score for sure.

It was the same play vs the same coverage. Cards saw something and exploited it. That is a playcall issue.

I mean if you read here, a lot of the comments are disconnected from reality. Our OL is terrible, our secondary is terrible, etc.

Fans expectations are if there are any negative plays, that player/unit is terrible

You actually think the secondary and OL are not terrible? Do you watch the games or just look at PFF? Are you giving points to the secondary for the opposing WRs having butter fingers or something? Literally in every game this season guys have dropped WIDE open huge passes multiple times. Injuries or not the 49ers are 3-0 right now due to luck.

Kyler averaged less than 5 ypa. Do you know what terrible means?

I'm not saying we have some elite lockdown corners at all 5 spots, but as usual around here people starting whining and getting overdramatic any time a play doesn't go in our favor

It would have been much higher had he had now his WRs drop open deep passes multiple times. Like I said guys have been wide open in all 3 games in numerous occasions some would have been easy walk in TDs.

We are ranked number 5 in Yards per game allowed and number 6 in yards per attempt

Busted coverage is happening more than it should. Panic PI and not playing the ball. We just have some cleaning up to do.
Yea Green has been beyond shaky and it's not much depth behind him. Gonna be some growing pains with so many young guys. Hopefully it starts to come together. We aren't going to be playing these terrible ass non competent teams all year long. s**t the Cards dropped 3 td passes yesterday. Sigle had a really bad game yesterday.

Green is definitely getting tested more and will continue to get picked on. The secondary will get much better if he learns fast and improves weekly. MM is coming back and it might take a couple games before he's back to normal (fingers crossed). Sigle is learning on the fly but he's doing alright, not great but just alright.

Saleh has to get the secondary playing at a high level and hopefully sooner than later. With Bosa out, it's gonna give QBs more time to find open WRs. We've been lucky so far that none of the DBs are badly hurt. I still think we might've F'd up by not going after Justin Simmons or another solid SB in the offseason.

Don't get me wrong, Pinnock is doing pretty good and Saleh has a new role for Brown, but if dominoes fall and they can't get a solid pass rush going, then you already know the math

Sigle will need to head to bench when Mustapha comes back.

Yeah I don't get the hype with him. He can't cover.
