Gonna be made to look better than they are most of year thanks to playing such bad qbs. Also depth is awful.

That being said solid effort today. Sigle gives me hope at safety.

Seattle has a legit #1 WR threat in Njigba, and while Kupp isn't what he use to be, he's still a decent vet at WR, but that's really all about Seattle has. Plus Darnold, tho he isn't terrible, he's nothing to write home about. Not to mention, their oline probably played as well as ours (slightly above average)

The cuck's offense is probably mid at best. I know they played even harder at home, but we also matched their intensity if not more. Our defense, especially the secondary, has a lot of growing / improving to do, but I think they're going to be a real strength later as they develop chemistry and individually grow.

I didn't think they were great today, but they were pretty good. I know Green had a tough time with Njigba, but he does that to a lot of good DBs. Still, they held Darnold to less yards that he's had since 2022. Remember tho, Seattle's offense isn't all that after Njigba and Walker. So, considering 49ers secondary battled against a middle of the pack offense, how would you grade the secondary and how good do you think they could be once they get more experience together (MM coming back)??

I think they'll be pretty sick. They already have a lot of speed and about to get more once MM comes back. Last year he was nicknamed "Sultan of Swarm" and this year that name was given to Sigle

Absolutely. In short, you said a lot. They'll need the practice
Lenoir is as advertised, but Green looking quite average according to this data

Green struggling with the big play. Still a work in progress.

Not sure I would have believed anyone if they said before the season that Upton Stout would be as good as Pat Surtain, but here we are.

Yes. As a unit, they'll also get better. Hopefully MM can come back and not have any setbacks...

That's pretty crazy. I still don't believe it lol
We've been pretty lucky at times. A lot of times
This is one of the worst secondary's in the league. It's crazy the amount of open dudes there are. Thankfully opposing teams can't catch.

Looking quite average as a young CB is still better than what could be. At least he is not looking below average or bad.

Worst secondary in the league is a stretch. They've allowed roughly 170 yards a game and 5.5 YPA.

They aren't the worst secondary in league but are definitely weakest unit on team.
Well as for Green, he's got speed, confidence and Saleh on his side...

I know teams are picking on him more because Demo is on the other side, I just hope he learns and progresses upwards (fast)
The word we are looking for, gentlemen, is "susceptible". The secondary is susceptible to the occasional "OH, f**k ME!" moment. We want to try and limit that.

I think a few lapses should probably be expected when we have a lot of 1st and 2nd year players starting back there.
