that was also the coaches fault. they knew brooks justin and aldon were all hurt. we still had bowman and willis at the top of their game. but no. lets not bring any pressure on joe. lets let those two set around playing checkers in pass coverage. after all that. we still had a chance to win. the coaches. who are supposed to do what is best for the team. blew it. using gore as a f**king decoy and then going to crabtree in a clutch position. sherman was right about her all along

Coaches plural. Sure. Not just the OC.
agree. it was roman enabled by jh. i think the key was the time out we called cuz we had to. did it not come out. we had a play to have ck walk it right into the end zone

I just wanted to mention how awesome those years were as a 49ers fan. If you know football, when they announced that they hired Jim Harbaugh from Stanford, you knew that they made the right choice. Our 49ers were tough, disciplined, and didn't take crap from anyone, Teams feared us. Thank you Jim for those years, we will never forget. I'm drunk and legally high in Oregon, but really miss those teams lol.

Cheers brethren!! The feeling is mutual

dont know about all that, winning football games is not boring

It was boring. We have one good quarter and stink the other 3 most of the time. Then we would armchair QB about why Alex or Colin went MIA for 3 quarters in our run-run-pass Greg Roman offense. We would get 3 or 5 turnovers and still only win by one score. How many times did we score over 30?

If felt good to win games every week, knowing we could beat any team in the league is nice. People get too critical

The last 5 games of the 2017 season were more entertaining and more impressive than anything from the JH era. Winning makes s**t smell good...but it was still crap.

Lol no they weren't
I don't understand why people want to tear down the 2011-2013 so badly. It obviously wasn't perfect since we didn't win the SuperBowl, but the era was still filled with a lot of wins and a lot of great moments. It's far superior to anything else we've experienced in the York era so far. Harbaugh is still the only head coach hired by the Yorks to produce a single winning season out of the 7(!) they've hired.

I also can't believe that people are acting like going 5-0 to close out last season is more impressive than what we accomplished in the Harbaugh era. Going 5-0 at the end of last season does not mean we're winners again. We still finished 6-10. You're not winners if you don't have a winning record.

i can not understand how some can be more excited about a six game winning streak as compared to three elite years

oh . i think you know exactly why they are doing that.. before the five game win streak or before the hire of kyle and lynch. in my opinion. anyone saying negative things about jh would be roasted alive

you are wise beyond your number of posts and little red boxes that are not filled up . it is insane to compare or even elevate a five game win streak in a 6-10 year to three years of elite play

A lot of folks here were big Baalke/ Jed / Tomsula supporters...belittling the Harbaugh era makes them feel better
One of the best games for me as a Niners fan of 40 years was the 41-34 win in Foxboro over the Patriots in what was billed as a possible Super Bowl preview.

That was a great game for sure. I think my most memorable game from those years is the playoff win in subzero temps in GB. That game was a prototypical Harbaugh win. Guts all around.
The 25yrs or younger crowd probably don't even know what the WCO offensive machine look like. Nolan, Harbaugh— all Neanderthal offense compare to what Kyle can put together.

We're going back ==> to the future!

When WR, TE, RB, FB — anyone of these positions capable of slicing up the best of defenses and make it look easy

no one gave us a chance in the world. my most memorable game i think was the playoff win over the panthers. that was the last time the gang was together and dominated a team as they did in the second half. the next game was seattle. reid hurt bowman and it was never the same
