We're going back ==> to the future!

When WR, TE, RB, FB — anyone of these positions capable of slicing up the best of defenses and make it look easy

lets wait to see if he can put it together for a full season before we elevate kyle and the team to a place on our ladder higher than the teams that jh had. if you are actually doing that now. well i just do not know

Did you missed the 37pts against the Jags game cc. See it but don't believe it, the WCO can do that to you

Boring team with no real leader on offense.

dont know about all that, winning football games is not boring

It was boring. We have one good quarter and stink the other 3 most of the time. Then we would armchair QB about why Alex or Colin went MIA for 3 quarters in our run-run-pass Greg Roman offense. We would get 3 or 5 turnovers and still only win by one score. How many times did we score over 30?

If felt good to win games every week, knowing we could beat any team in the league is nice. People get too critical

The last 5 games of the 2017 season were more entertaining and more impressive than anything from the JH era. Winning makes s**t smell good...but it was still crap.

Lol no they weren't

Jimmy G alone has this forum excited. Harbaugh and his HaRoman offense only had this forum pissed off and divided. Perception of public opinion.

I'm still trying to find a team that had a five-game winning streak and then sucked the next year.

The closest I can find is the 2008 Cleveland Browns with a four-game winning streak, but they didn't beat any playoff teams.

In 2009, we finished 4-1. Didn't beat any playoff teams there, either.

Winning five in a row, even against bad teams, is a hard thing to do. I do my best to stay cautiously optimistic at best through everything but I really don't think it was all a meaningless mirage. We'll find out in half a year, though.

Just to give an idea of how difficult it is: the last time we had done it was 2013 and before that, 2011. We didn't even do it the season we went to the Super Bowl. Before 2011, you have to go all the way back to 2001 and then 1997.

People mad at the way the 49ers were winning also cheered the move to Tomsula. They were wrong. I am happy to have Shanahan and I was sad to see Harbs shoved out. It was a dumb move.

The dumb move was Tomsula not Harbaugh. Hell we could've made a run at Kyle then. The whole thing should've been blown up right then and there.

I just wanted to mention how awesome those years were as a 49ers fan. If you know football, when they announced that they hired Jim Harbaugh from Stanford, you knew that they made the right choice. Our 49ers were tough, disciplined, and didn't take crap from anyone, Teams feared us. Thank you Jim for those years, we will never forget. I'm drunk and legally high in Oregon, but really miss those teams lol.

Lol nice man

Cheers
I think th 2011 season was when we definitely should've won the Superbowl. But we drafted kyle williams...

I think that started the rift between Baalke and Harbaugh. That draft pick really increased mistrust and doubt into each of them for each other.
