i was so sure he would be a bust. Kid is the real deal

Please allow me to repeat:
Watson is not Kyle Shanahan's type of QB,
Watson did not meet the Kyle Shanahan QB spec.
Kyle Shanahan would have refused to coach Watson, if Watson happened to be on the team, he will be traded.

What is Kyle's QB spec and can he find it in the draft?

Not being able to work with a highly talented QB is not a plus for a HC.

People have been saying that for a few years. We won't know until we starting see the team improve.
It looked like the team will finish with a worse record and point differential for the fourth straight year.

0-16 is the bottom....and its what I expect right now

0-16 with no FQB in sight.
The bottom will probably be when we have to fire Shanahan also. Because at that point you know things have gotten beyond the point where we think he can save the team.

It's pretty bad though that we had 50% roster turnover and probably will again this off season. Here's a thought don't cut guys like brooks and bowman. Unless you have somebody better to replace them. Stop being cheap and pay guys unless you have someone better.

0-16 sets this franchise at 2-30 over a two year stretch if it happens....

Hate to say it guys but this isn't the bottom. Year 1 of a total rebuild isn't the bottom and if it then that's great. The bottom would be year 3 of a rebuild and we are 0-8 or something like that. Kind of like the Browns are right now.

This is the fourth straight year of getting worse.
I was hoping this team would show some improvement this year but they haven't. I was hoping for a significant improvement in point differential but the team is on pace to do even worse. I was hoping for improvements in the offense and defensive rankings but that looks like it is out the window as well.

The damage was too much to recover from. This is the result of drafting recklessly, having no accountability in doing so for years. It was going to catch up to us eventually, we saw signs in 2014 in ignoring key positions like our oline for years.

We were horrible at drafting for years. You can coach your ass off and ain't no saving us. We need years of consistent good drafting.

Our fears was much worse than we thought, I do admit but self inflicted wounds nonetheless lead us here.

Haha I bet you said the same thing last year about Dak Prescott
We owe the football gods 0-16 for two reasons trading god to Kansas City, and firing Jim Harbaugh

Your gods lost his last two games and could very easily lose his next two as well.....
The bottom will be the end of the season. And with the sheer number of injuries I'm struggling to find just where we get a win this season.
opposite of the top

0 wins this season.
I thought we'd have a legit shot this week vs Arizona, but not now... we are just not good enough to compete for 60 mins with any team at this point.

Two FQB the 49ers passed on.
Rock bottom will be when we are winless halfway through the season and the team sends out survey to fans asking if they care about winning. Oh wait.....
