No good coach wants to work with Kaepernick and his one read and chuck it mentality. Get over it, that train has long left the station and isn't coming back.

It doesn't help when key players are lost to injury. IMO if Foster plays they have a real shot to win the last two games.
the team has IMPROVED. week-to-week? we have shown the same consistent fight and competitiveness. so yes, we've improved. it's what Jed looked for in kelly's team last season and there was none of it.

Absolutely no question esp. in that Seattle game where it would have been Foster scraping around, spying Wilson vs. Ray-Ray.

And Bo would have had real help last game and probably would not have missed 6 tackles as a result.

would like to think you are right.. it made no sense to me why the brain trust. knowing we can not generate a pass rush, despite their best efforts to promote eli as the second coming of skip vanderbilt, opted not to give snaps to elvis and lynch in the last game. can we even trust foster to stay healthy? i mean the theory floated by some that bowman and foster will be the next willis bowman tandem is already destroyed as bowman obviously is done..

If Foster had played, that could have been a difference and stops could have been made at key moments and actually resulting in our 1st win against the Rams. I absolutely see improvement over the last 2 years. Dropped passes and penalties have mostly killed a chance at a W these past 2 games. We've been competitive and thats all that I'm asking for in season 1. Aside from the CAR game we have not gotten blown out and we probably should have been.

Yes we are improving. Played the seahawks tough AT seattle, its refreshing compared to the last few years. Special teams is doing their thing. Niners offense put plenty of points on the board with hoyer at QB. I know shanny has a complex offense but i didnt expect much from Hoyer anyway, i would be disappointed if beathard was the one throwing a INT 3 games in a row and playing crappy like hoyer is. I dont think Hoyer has another game like he did against the rams. Hoyer probably gonna game manage most games rest of the way, maybe he will have one more 300+ yard game.

What are you basing this on? I don't expect him to ever be elite, but game manage? With Shanahan calling the plays?

When Hoyer played in CHI, weren't in almost all his games he threw for over 300+ yards? Shanahan calls plays to put up points.

Hoyer avg. 240 ypg had 6 TDs and 0 INT
Bears OL also ranked in the top 10 for pass blocking last year.

We simply don't have the OL to make up for Hoyer's lack of talent.

Yeah, and with 4 4th down tries, probably would not have been blown out against Carolina...another game where turnovers, short fields for the opposition and tons of mental mistakes (untimely penalties and blown assignments) killed the effort.
