Both with a bum QB against a top tier defense. This is knee jerk reaction substance.

Pretty much....Kyle's just gotta stop telling Hoyer to hit Mike LBer in stride and making Goodwin drop wide open passes....

the sad thing is, I'm starting to see why Foster had so many picks in TC.

I'd like it but I doubt he comes here.

lol this. That Goodwin drop was ridiculous. He had a touchdown if he just calmed down and secured the football.

I knew we were gonna struggle starting out and I knew what the narrative was gonna be. People need to have a realistic expectation of what exactly we are. This is terrible offensive personnel except for Hyde, Garcon, Juice and I hope Kittle.

If you want to get a comparo of where we are and use a team from the past look at Andy Reid's first eagle team. He had a decent first game point wise but failed in like 5 straight games to even break 100 pass yard and only went of 200 pass yard twice all season.

The s**t takes time and from this game specifically, My takeaway is gonna be how well they ran the ball. It really have that elder shanny ZBS look to it. So that's a huge plus.
I was surprised that the offense didn't completely meltdown under the noise. Since their last win in SEA, I've come to expect an offense that gets punched in the mouth and never recovers. But, for an offense with plenty of fresh faces, they looked fairly poised (if not effective). When they did slip up, they got back up and continued to (try to) execute the offense.

Shanahan isn't giving up playcalling responsibilities, nor should he. If he brought in an OC, it would be like how most other HC's who call their own offenses have OC's, guys that largely focus on developing gameplans for the run game. Much like how Chip had Modkins as his OC. Shanahan has his helpers as well.

I don't see it being some major issue. You hire a guy like Shanahan because you want him running your team, but in particular the offense.

If anything an OC is already on the team. I think Shanahan is gonna keep calling plays until he's ready to trust someone on his staff. Shanahan already has Mike LaFleur and Mike McDaniel as his passing game and run game specialist.
The drum beat will be deafening after a 3rd game without a TD

He's not bringing anyone in. This is his baby and his staff. I believe he already splits some of the calling with Mike McDaniel.

He can't do both...0 TDs in two games gets OCs fired but you can't when it's the HC. The ram's are a stingy d so this scoreless streak has the potential to get worse before it gets better.
