With Blair hurting, this signing makes a lot of sense. Cooper's strength is getting after the QB...and with the DL rotation Saleh will run, Xavier will get opportunities to do that. Keeping the DL strong will pay off, in a number of ways.

Wow, you weren't kidding. They drafted 3 defensive linemen, and signed 3 undrafted defensive linemen. Looks like the cut all their undrafted defensive linemen free agents, and all their drafted defensive linemen guys made their 53.

Interesting pickup! I remember a few years ago there was a bit of hype and draft crushing with Cooper on the draft forum here. Went a little higher than what people were projecting it seems (rounds 5-7 seemed to be the sweet value spot iirc). Seems like he could backup either Buckner or Mitchell with his frame. Solid depth pickup at this point in the season imo

Don't you think we'll be seeing Celek active over Paulson as the #2 TE, especially considering it's Paulson who's getting cut and signed around like a pawn by this team

Haha...Paulsen was just a procedural move to get Blair on I.R. He's back on the roster. Yeah, it depends on the matchup each week but more often than not, all 3 TE's will be active. But every once in a while, a 3rd TE might be inactive.

Your list is pretty dead on but I think Reaser dresses over Weatherspoon, at least initially. I and I also think Celek will dress over Paulson
