Also, everything I've read describes Kyle using Cole Hikutini(6'5", 230 lbs) as a WR/TE hybrid. He's the solution to the missing height and size in the munchkin WR group.

Oh there you go...I figured we'd rely on the TE's a lot for the size factor but this is one real possibility. He's not much of a blocker anyhow...lose 10 pounds and master route running.
Yup, he's basically a huge WR.

I like that outside the box thinking.

I think Burbrige is going to be the primary gunner again.

Only 5 DBs? That's risky.

9 really...IIRC, we kept 9 last year too.

RCB: Dontae Johnson; Ahkello Witherspoon
S/CB: K'Waun Williams; Will Redmond
LCB: Rashard Robinson
FS: Jimmie Ward; Lorenzo Jerome
SS: Eric Reid; Jaquiski Tartt

With 8 in the box, one more player will be needed for the front 7 and theoretically, most of our DB's can play multiple positions.

I wouldn't mind a 10th like James for SS. But only 46 will be active so...

I think Will Redmond's spot in jeopardy. I believe Lorenzo Jerome can also play the slot, and they'll probably prefer an outside guy for depth behind Rashard and DJ.

I have reiser making it instead of tartt. I forgot about ward as a FS.

That's possible. You need gunners who are fast and shifty and disruptive and force the action along with good wrap up skills. We've had a different combo of gunners every year for ages now.

Jerome is a FS maybe a SS in the NFL....he's not going to cover shifty speedy WR's in this league with his speed or lack there of he would get torched on a regular basis.
I also have chris jones making the cut. Minor differences on D.

He's been getting slot reps in practice.

And there is no lack of speed. If you watch the tape, he's plenty fast.

Tartt was taking first team reps at FS for Ward so that might be an indication they see him as their swing S. We just don't badge any other box S's after Reid other than Tartt. My guess is that the loser at the #2 CB spot will be cut because both Ward and Redmond can play outside too if needed. Tough balancing act here on versatility. But Reaser certainly has a legit chance.
