Dry nice job coop. Only thing you can question is Cannon,Jerome, Breida. So I guess I'll be on record and say 48 positions are already a lock IMO. Then you can nitpick on Don Jones/Dial. Might not need both and then you can carry an extra pass rusher/CB/TE.

Interesting that Atlanta had 4 TE's on their 53 last year.

I think it's a possibility 5 players make the 53 between the FB/OW and TE position.

What do you guys think?

I don't see Hikutini making the 53, more like the PS. I wonder how many players are being shopped from last years team? Guys like McDonald are known, but perhaps guys like Celek,Bell,Reid, others are on the block? Does Garnett fit our scheme, or does he possibly become trade bait? Kind of early to give up on him, but if he's not a scheme fit, and we could get something like a 2nd for him, then I might move him and roll with a vet in his place at RG.

Hikutini is a lock for PS I think. If we can trade Vance we will, Paulsen is a 1 year deal, and I doubt Belk/Celek make the 53 man cut.

Right now Kittle seems to be our only mid/long term option with Juice playing a hybrid FB/TE role.

Hukutini definitely will be kept close at hand. Will probably be told to shadow Paulsen as his strengths are Hikutini's weaknesses.

One thing you guys need to consider is cap implications.

Don Jones has $750K guaranteed in his 2yr deal, and even with a June 1 cut we only save like $365K, I'd rather have a proven STer on the team than a rookie.

Brock Coyle got a $400K signing bonus, and he would be the backup MIKE LBer.

Vance has $7.7M GTD left on his deal, we'd lose money if cut, we could gain if we trade him.

Celek we gain very little, like $950K ish if cut.

Also I think Cole Hikutini may be stashed on NFI, as he isn't fully healed, or the reason he fell was an injury, so we may not even. need to have a roster spot for him this year.

Tank has $1M GTD for 2017 in his base

Dial has $1.4M GTD for his 2017 base

I know we have cap room, but it's not smart to eat money when we have the potential to land Kirk Cousins in 2018. We need to preserve cap space for next year as well.
