Favorite 49er Selection from 2017 Draft

He is my favorite pick as well. I think he sticks and turns into a long term piece to the puzzle. We will still add there the next few years, be we found a guy that can/will function legit in his role in shanny offense.

I like the two first round pics as well, but i still think the offense needs a lot of help.Taylor will be the best offensive player out of this draft class IMO, with the long shot of Beathard becoming a long term starter.
Froster - Whatever happens on D, it'll be great seeing a LB flying around the field again.

Thomas, Kittle, and Williams also have a shot to shine early (and become favorites).
Thomas will obviously be a key piece on the line.
The TE spots are probably open, so Kittle has a good a chance as anyone.
If Williams' head's right, he's got the potential to rack up yards in a hurry - even more so if Hyde gets nicked up (knock on wood).
Foster, for sure...but like the Williams and Taylor picks too.

I like Beathard, but I always root for the underdog. There's nothing better then when someone that few to No one believes in, ends up being a gamer.

Agree!! The combo of Hyde and Williams has a potential to be an awesome 1-2 punch.
Not my favorite pick, but after watching a few solid hours of tape on CJ, I can see the traits Kyle values in this kid. Whether he can prefect them at the next level, who knows, but so can be said about every NFL player, even the top "rated" or "most pro ready". We'll see what young CJ can do, right now I see him as a high end back up for Kirk Cousins.
The fact that we have multiple favorites in one draft is BeatHard stuff right there! If I had to choose one, Foster hands down. I think he wins rookie of the year if he plays and stays healthy. Absolutely love this draft class as a whole though

Foster the missile.

There's a lot of truth here.

Foster is the easy answer, but about Baalke's head-scratchers, Vance and Bell were horrendous picks. I expect Kittle to beat them out quickly. theres a lot of competition now with Celek, Paulsen, Hikutini and Bell in the mix for the our #3.

Don't expect much from Colbert. I like the depth though. He'll compete next year when Reid leaves.

For me, Joe Williams is such a great pick. He's exactly in the mold of a Shanahan feature back. I don't expect Hyde to be in our future plans, so we may have landed our franchise back in the 4th round.

There's so manny great picks in this class. I'm just thrilled that we've turned a new leave and appear to be on the right path.

I agree about Williams - he's going to replace Hyde in '18, I predict. Great value to get him in the 4th.

Not Bowman. Only team I recall having a first round grade on him was the Cowboys.

Willis and Kuechly for sure, not sure who the other may be, but here's a list of some of the notable 1st round LBs over the last decade:

Timmons
Beason
Mayo
Curry
Cushing
Matthews
McClain
Mosley

I'd say he ranks up there with any of them. Mayo and Timmons got a boost for their speed. You probably have to put him right with Willis and Kuechly as a prospect. He just didn't have the clean character grade as them.
Foster, with Kittle a close second. Warming up to the DJ Jones pick too the more I read about him.
