Cute try but Jimmy G was not good at all.

This is the Kittle thread. No need to turn every thread into a bash JG thread. IIRC you're a Seahawk fan. So, it just comes across as trolling.
thanks jimmy g

I agree with the Seahawks fan. I am not trolling.

It was basically a preseason game with little practices.

I urge everyone to watch Johnnydels Football Academy breakdown on YouTube. It really puts into perspective a lot of things overall in my opinion. I had a few opinions, as we all do and should, but his breakdown really helped me understand a few more things I was missing. And if nothing else we should as a community be supporting a valued member who has probably forgot more football knowledge than I've ever learned in general. His videos are excellent. And how he isn't working for our beloved team as a consultant to some degree is beyond me. But his latest video really brings much needed perspective overall to this unfortunate loss, namely the failings we had as a team.

What a gina

Not his decision, you seriously think if it was up to him he wouldn't be out there fighting with his brothers !!! Again I'm positive if it was a playoff game or a big game for seeding he'd be a go

What takes a pounding more and keeps on ticking like a gina?

The type of offense we run has a high level of precision and focuses on skills that are perishable. With little game speed practice it's easy to see how these tiny Mistakes magnify to total failure overall. I mean the experience factor is almost just as important and even that has been taken away from Jimmy at this point. He doesn't have the experience with these receivers to know what tendencies they have in a given situation, and the receivers don't have the experience with Jimmy to know his either. Mix that with a gameplan that was designed to go elsewhere and you have our first loss of the season. No doubt when Jimmy and Kyle break this game down you will see massive changes and a whole new understanding of what is available. And I doubt we'll see the same mistakes made twice. New ones for sure, that's life in the NFL.

Cool. I also don't think JG had a good game, but that wasn't my point.

This team is so predictable when it comes to injuries. Is there anyone that believed Kittle May play?

Never was any doubt in my mind. This team handles injuries badly. Kittle could somehow play to the horn sounded last Sunday but can't play a week later. A loss to the Jets or Giants in the next two weeks and you can kiss the super bowl goodbye.

Best TE of the planet but waaaay too many injuries to think he can play his entire contract.

Yeah, he did it to his best friend and favorite receiver (ball catcher), but he sure as hell didn't mean it and nobody felt worse about it than JG. It happens...just not often and when it does, it was accidental. To have it be your favorite receiver and best friend...that just makes it exponentially worse for jimmy.

I don't want to think of this team with no George. Take your best Offensive player , and have him out ....it is just too awful to even comprehend. OTOH, i really like him sitting out this game at least and maybe some others. When i saw the replay ,and again and again....i was sure he tore an ACL, MCL, or either anterior or posterior cruciates. Same for meniscus. It was THAT bad. Don't know how far that knee got hyperextended, but on me it would have just broken off. If he truly didn't damage something, it is a miracle.

Put me in the category of happy he's not playing this week. Why risk your best player? I say let him rest a few weeks. It's probably a partially torn lateral or medial or meniscus, so let it heal.

People keep talking about Jordan Reed but I wanna see Woerner. He's supposedly the next Kittle, from the hype.

That is flat out wrong, and everything in his past says that's goofy. Kittle''s problem is the opposite . He's told he can't play and ends up playing.
Truly, the guy loves the game like no other in a long time.
I would like to see Woerner start to see what he has. Plus the Niners are going to need an elite TE blocker to take Kittle's place vs the Jets. We don't really want Reed out there doing that kind of work with his concussion history. We already know what we have in Dwelley. Let's see what we have in Woerner.
