He can hardly be blamed when he aint calling the plays and other players are not executing the plays properly, like Pettis not getting his routes right. Same here as blaming JG for Kittle hurting his knee. Just lacks insight.

Fans have to learn to stop catastrophizing.

Lol you defend Jimmy way too much. We all want Jimmy to succeed and prove his doubters wrong, but let's be real, he played awful last game.
I remember an article by Johnny Unitas when he said you never put your receiver in jeopardy. Jimmy G did just that, the placement of that throw left Kittle vulnerable to injury.

Dude get off Jimmy's nuts lol.

I'm as big of a jimmy fan as the next niner fan...he played awful last week. Horrible mechanics, very inaccurate, poor pre/post reads etc...

Jimmy left Kittle open to getting hurt. That s**t is NOT acceptable for a NFL QB. Wasn't even a downfield throw...

That's a grade school throw and he f**ked it up...Also please show me Pettis not running correct routes? Let's stop making excuses for a horrible game from our QB. Hopefully he gets his head out of his ass and plays better...because we know he can.

I watch so many other teams run this play & they have the WR or TE running towards the QB & up the field, not falling back & exposing themselves to a hit like that. 2nd & 4 we should attacking not sitting still or going back to catch the ball

Bourne could have done a better job of blocking too.

Rapport is reporting that Kittle not only has a sprained knee, but also has a bone bruise. I guess add a week or two for his return.

Just like the belief was that he would play today. I'm done believing the lies that this team throws out when it comes to injured player's.

He'll be back week 5, they'll downplay the injury week to week.
Keep him in rehab at home for two more weeks until the Philly game. That way he won't have to travel and he can get the best treatment and rest up at the team facilities. We need him more after this road trip.
