While it will be fun and exciting getting a big name playmaker like AB or OBJ but I don't think it's Lynch's game to trade for players like them at that position especially with the money both are making. Mack was a different case at a position that's a premium in this league and we've been starving for since Aldon drank himself out off the team. If we sign a FA edge rusher, take one with our 2nd I'm all for saying f**k it let's have a top 5 offense but I'll mainly lean to taking DK Metcalf with our 2nd rounder. But imagine someone like AB or OBJ, Kittle, Pettis, Goodwin who can stretch the field, Jet and motioning him against a LB our offense will be so fun to watch

Even if it means nothing, this is a pretty petty message he's sending to Steelers fans and the FO.
I don't know if that relationship can last much longer.

It won't. I'm sure AB would like to come here actually. I just doubt we would ever make that move.

AB can play X or Z right? Baggage be damned, dude is elite. I'd give up a 3rd for him. Give him a new contract with a team option after the third year.
Screw it, I'd give up a 2nd. Don't just "go hard" John Lynch, go get him.

Maybe. But why all of a sudden this year. Never really been a diva before. Top 5 WR. That said not worth locker room chemistry disruption.

He can request whatever he wants. Pittsburgh is looking at a 20 mil cap hit to move him. It's just not financially viable.

If he really wants out, that contract can be worked around, but both sides have to agree to altering the contract currently in place. And that likely means a new deal be a requirement for Brown from any team acquiring his services.
A lot to it in essence, and we are a long way from any moves being made. Steelers have shown they will dig their heels in, the Bell drama proved that. Time will tell if the fence can be mended or not.
I would not bet on a trade at this stage though.

Signing and restructure bonuses are already paid. I don't know what move can be made to alleviate that.
