Robert Saleh has been fantastic all season.
Shanahan and him are such a great one two punch.
Now it's crystal clear that Robert probably won't be there next season.
I hope Kyle can talk with Jim Schwartz. He's not perfect but he knows the Defense.

Well, he will be a HC next year.

My guess he goes to the Ravens and puts Mike McDaniels in at OC.

Eagles might try to get him.

That is tempting. Eagles draft pretty well, but didnt McDaniel dismiss Vic Fangio as his DC? My money is on he goes with Saleh.

Keeping Hurts will be a job requirement.

Saleh's replacement is already on staff - Paul Casey "Gus" Bradley. I think he was hired precisely because everyone knew that Saleh would get a HC job in 2027. Hopefully, young York will take advantage of "no salary cap for coaches" and back the Brinks truck up to Saleh driveway to keep him. I like Jim Schwartz, but IMHO Gus Bradley would be better for consistency.

If Saleh goes, we MUST bring in " May the SCHWARTZ Be With You " ....

I wouldn't exclude the possibility of Raheem Morris coming in as DC either. He and Kyle are buds and if Saleh leaves, it would be the first real opportunity theyve had to work together since Atlanta.
WZ last week: WHO THE HELL WOULD MAKE THIS GUY A HEAD COACH? HE SUCKS

WZ this week: omg he's gone for sure please don't go

He'll take Bradley with him as well so better get Schwartz asap.

I would hope they at least interview the Cards former DC Nick Rallis. He got dealt a raw hand with all the injuries they had but getting to listen to him talk about his approach to defense he seems very pragmatic and open minded. A young coach with a bright future. Came up under Mike Zimmer and Jonathan Gannon.

I'll admit that I've been upset with his defense at times this season, but he truly has done a wonderful job with the pieces he has to work with. I don't think he'll get a HC job this go round, though. Almost definitely will after ext season, depending on how it goes. My question is this: if a team wants to hire a defensive HC, why is Saleh being considered before Schwartz and Fangio? And how do we get to the point where we can keep a great DC like them, without having to worry that they will be poached?

Nobody is ever giving a HC job to either of those guys again. They don't have the HC temperament. Saleh will get another shot because he knows how to play the PR game and the Jets are a joke.

Because Saleh is the Leader of Men-type who looks better in front of the camera and he'll bring the Shanahan offense with him. He'd be an excellent pick for a team like the Ravens that needs a young guy who's going to be there for at least a decade.

Fangio and Schwartz had their chances at HC and it was ugly. More than just loosing games but just horrible culture.

Yeah, glad he won't have to deal with the Jets and land a better spot.

Trust me, Jim Schwartz isn't happening.
