49ers Head Coach Kyle Shanahan Thread

Why are we even worrying about Kyle liking KC? If anything, how much he's gushed on how bad he wanted KC should be more gravy on the Jimmy G train. That Kyle saw what he saw from him and it caused him to move on from KC after having coached him for 2 years is impressive in only 3 games. Not only that, but to commit the franchise to him for 5 years with what is the biggest contract in NFL history.

Never slam a door if you can keep it open. Down the road Kyle may find a time where he needs Cousins, so why alienate him by saying anything but "I really wanted him?"

Stranger things have happened. Players know this is a business.

That's why hardly anyone in the biz throw stones at anyone in the league

"The Days of Our Team" will air this fall, but updates will be daily until then. Doldrums of off season...deadly!

Offseason + usual pot stirrers. No rational person is worried.

What stands out in these plays—CJ Beathard. Some nice placement of the ball

Most of those were Hoyer...

Yep. I think that was the point. Imagine what Kyle can do with Jimmy, and what Jimmy can do in Kyle offense vs Hoyer.

Yes! From watching the few games JG has started it looks like he could be much better than Ryan...let alone Hoyer. If he is...yowza! Perhaps they should trade back and up for take four or five of the best OL they can get! Let's protect that FQB!
