49ers Head Coach Kyle Shanahan Thread

I think the reason I tune in to Grant Cohn and follow a lot of his content is because he preaches the truth. He likes Kyle a lot and is a huge Niner fan but there was something off about the reporting of his accident and account that actually took place on that road. There's always an "at fault" driver in these situations or insurance companies wouldn't exist. I'm sure Kyle is taking care of all of her expenses out of pocket but there's still a record of accountability. Palo Alto Police department might need to take a look at integrity within their own department.

I am relieved to hear this. I had always wondered why. Now I can rest assured.

Well, I for one don't really care who was at fault I'm just glad that everyone was relatively okay, I think it should suffice Kyle is a really standup guy. And if he's getting shat all over from anyone for being the cause of the accident, I don't know what to tell you I guess that person has no life.

Has anyone ever read the book Extreme Ownership? I feel like this is straight out of the book. Something bad happened so instead of blaming anyone else you take ownership and accept responsibility. From what I've seen the person from the other car was a 21 year old female so an accident like this would impact her far more than the HC of the 49ers who has strong ties to the community. I feel like what actually happened was he was on his phone while his self driving Tesla was driving and the young women for whatever reason veered into his lane and hit him. He's taking ownership because that's what a leader does. I have mad respect for that while at the same time feeling bad for everyone involved. Even though everyone survived I feel like something like that will last forever
