Kyle's story makes more sense than the original one that said the woman crossed the line. If that was true and she had caused an injury accident she would have been cited. I imagine that Kyle wasn't cited because the woman wasn't injured at all and the insurance companies can take care of the damage to the cars.

It did seem weird that both had a head-on collision, but she wasn't injured... in comparison to Kyle who got hurt bad. But then I'm reading a report that she actually was considered injuried when the call first went in. But I'm waiting for more to come out of that, before totally believing it.

The airbags deployed but if Kyle was bent over and trying to retrieve his phone then he may have been more prone to injury. As for police reportsthey are often inaccurate. I know because I was once cited for a DUI and I hired a layer. I saw the report that had me failing all the field sobriety tests even though I was under the legal level. He neve reven gave me all the tests. Even the guy that drew blood told me I didn't look drunk because I wasn't. Police are told to say that when they stop a driver for DUI they shoud say in the report that the eyes were red and glassy and speech was slurred. I didn't get a DUI but I had to pay for the lawyer. When police make false statements like this guy did he should have to pay for the lawyer.

I guess you finally feel comfortable posting in this thread again.

If this were some other person you didn't worship(Kyle), you would be bashing him like crazy for being careless and almost killing another person on the road.

WE ALL F**KING KNOW IF YOU DROP YOUR PHONE WHILE ARRIVING TO AN INTERSECTION YOU DON'T F**KING TAKE YOUR EYES OFF THE F**KING ROAD TO LOOK FOR IT!!!!

I don't believe that s**t. But some folks just continue to get the benefit of the doubt, even when a story is suspect.

WTF are you talking about? I haven't been posting anywhere lately. Work and life have been consuming all my time.

I don't "worship" anyone. Get a grip. I wouldn't be bashing anyone for a simple mistake that countless people make daily. Stop pretending you're better because you're not.

man the hard on you must have had hearing he was in a car accident and hoping he was impaired or some weird s**t. No one got hurt and it was a dumb but simple mistake that happens. Sorry about your bad luck.

And what don't you believe? He was going 20 in a 25 coming from a chiropractor appointment. Dropped his phone and hit into oncoming traffic. What the f**k is so not believable in that situation???

Kyle said the police report said he hit her, the collision report (which is different) f**ked up.

"I hit her," Shanahan said Tuesday. "I don't know why it was reported that way [on the collision report database]. The police report doesn't say that."
Super shady s**t. 14 days with no news, cops/ or collision report lying on their reports, people/media railroading the chick like it was all her fault, shanny finally admitting it was his fault but saying my phone was on lap and I wasn't using it. Sure dude

Lot of story change ups in like 3 days since we learned of the accident. Tons of b******t. Why this team always gotta do shady s**t? So consistent

Legitimately happens all the time (I deal with police reports every day)

Police report said he was the guy who hit her. The collision report was incorrect and that was flagged.

acting like you're phone has never fell to the ground and you've picked it up before…. Yeah super shady lol.

and if he was on the phone it's a $20 fine for a first time offender. He didn't shoot someone.

I don't know why it wasn't reported earlier outside of the fact that no one was arrested, no one was sitting around listening to the police scanner and they probably wanted privacy with it.

What else is so shady lol?

why do people have to automatically go to the darkest weirdest scenarios for everything? Critical thinking just isn't a thing anymore. Everyone is tin foil Joe Rogan truthers and we're all dumber because of it

He said he was only going 20 mph, that's likely why. Airbags can deploy even at low speed, but definitely if she hit him harder, it'd make sense.

There are too many people immediately screaming conspiracy anytime something happens nowadays... Locked in the pervasive social media mindset of refusing to believe anything can be as basic as it really is.

Can't overthink everything..

Omg. Kyle is 46 years old. You learn that in your late teens or early 20s. S**t drops, all kinds of s**t. So you make sure you have it in a secure place. And set up what ever you need to set up, so you don't have to reach for it. Bluetooth app what ever. If it does drop and you need it right away, you pull over and park for a quick second. *GASP* the thought of that.

Let me ask you, non Kyle Homer one. WHY do you think Kyle desperately needed to reach down and pick it up? Just to place it on the side again? Na. It was for him to continue using it. I don't know why I would have to explain that.
