If he's at fault, I wonder if he was districted looking at this phone. But there is nothing out there that indicates any sort of fault. Whatever occurred, it doesn't sound like anything nefarious occurred.

Alma street is an hour away from the 49ers facility.
The Palo Alto police are not the local police and don't have jurisdiction anywhere near the stadium or practice facility.

Where do you live?

It's not a hour away, but that report sounds like major BS

At 6 PM it is probably 45 min to an hour.

It's actually not weird at all. Police reports for auto accidents are commonly filled with errors. It's why they aren't admissible in court.

Not that weird. Police accident reports are often just made up so that the officer can hurry up and get out of there asap.

Kyle initially lied to the officer, but felt the need to be more truthful with the media after the story blew up..

Or Kyle was honest with the officer, but the officer tried to help Kyle Shanahan. But now Kyle is admitting guilt in the front of the media, bringing attention to the department/throwing the officer under the bus.

That's a HUGE "error". Especially after the officer interviewed both parties. I don't buy that. Also I wouldn't think the officer would be in hurry to get out of there with potential mistakes, when it involves a big local celebrity almost dying.

Okay call me overdramatic or overnanalytical but I'm starting to get very concerned at how much this is starting to smell.

This story went from completely silent for 11 days to about 25 different versions in 3 days—each one worse than the last.

I really hope this doesn't get even worse or become something bigger like are we going to wake up tomorrow and find out that alcohol was involved? Or that the girl WAS hurt? Or there were more parties and they were ALL seriously hurt?

I just don't like this at all. The more time passes by the worse this story gets and the more it contradicts the last iteration.

The lack of transparency was a big red flag for fault on Shannys side .

Some of you are trying to make Kyle out to be Henry Ruggs.


He probably corrected the story today because he didn't like it being reported that the other driver was at fault, but the whole thing is a personal matter that shouldn't be in the news.
