Weren't you complaining about receiving the ball in OT? I thought you aren't concerned about reputations? So why worry about Mahomes who wasn't able to score TDs without a turnover inside our 20?

Be honest with yourself...

Has nothing to do with Mahomes. The smart move from a coaching perspective is to kick. Mahomes has nothing to do with the equation. There's a reason Kyle is the only coach who's been questioned in this scenario, it's because he's the only one who received and that is the wrong coaching decision

So you want a hype man who relies on his coordinators to handle the heavy lifting? Got it.

Nothing says nuances of head coaching than a guy who doesn't give a single carry to his best 2 runners in a first and goal situation against a defense that is gassed and weak at stopping the run.

Better than a guy that can't hold on to 10 point leads, and chooses to take the ball first in OT giving the ball last to the best QB in the league to decide a SB. Yeah I'd rather take my chances with Harbaugh…

Don't have to worry much about 10 point leads when you only score 12 and 7 in wildcard games. 4D chess.

Can't blow a lead if you never get a lead. Just brilliant nuances of head coaching if you think about it.

Also better not look back at that 2013 NFCCG...
The more important question is will the Kyle fan excuses continue into year 15 with no superbowls? Because that's where this team is headed.

my favorite argument is that a 2nd and 5 pass play with 3 minutes left in the superbowl that went for no gain was a brilliant play call.

Nobody said it was brilliant. Just called you out for flat out making up something that didn't happen.

You came in b***hing how Kyle didn't milk the clock by dialing up those pass plays. I explained to you that you were full of it and the pass play to Kittle kept the clock moving - which was your big complaint.

I then said your point on the 3rd and 5 needing to be a run play instead of going for the 1st down conversion was incredibly stupid on top of it.

But go ahead and laugh, trust me the rest of us are doing the same at your post.

About 3-4 years ago I asked how many years are the shanahan fans going to give Kyle because we keep going through the same motions. Well here we are in year 9 with 0 superbowls. The team is in decline. The drafts have sucked. We are finally seeing the fallout from the lance debacle. We are at least two maybe three years away from possibly becoming a championship team.

but we are hanging onto shanahan and lynch because we are worried we are going to hire another tomsula.

Shanahan fans over the years have used their favorite argument "who would you hire instead?" I think this year proves that there are a s**t ton of coaches out there that can be successful. Vrabel, McDaniel, Payton, Johnson all hired recently.

it's tiring to see what this once great franchise has become.

No need. Every other coach chose to kick and Mahomes wasn't there. He's not part of the equation

Kyle Shanahan is a finalist for the AP Coach of the Year award. He earned it. He did a hell of a coaching job considering all the injuries that happened.

So you are confident all those coaches would've gone 13-6 with this team?

Sad what the AP has become apparently. Didn't get the memo he should be fired.

This rehash of games played a few years ago is really stale. It's pointless because it can't change what has already happened. Get over it.

He'll get screwed on COY along with McCaffrey getting screwed for comeback POY

KC dynasty can't rival that one SB Seahawk team.
