I listened to Lombardi gaslight us into even considering that Kyle was a mastermind and Purdy was the second coming of curt warner and maybe the Niners were the second coming of "the greatest show in turf". Yeah, he mentioned it more than once. We went from unbridled pure offense to nothing. Zilch. 3 points. A FG. Hey, I accept it. Kyle's not going anywhere and this is who we will always be. But man, it's really gonna suck if Philly goes back to back and wins at Levi's. Or the rams get their second one. Or the Seahawks win the Super Bowl at Levi's. I'm not even sure I can watch a game with any of those 3 teams in it. What a kick to the balls this super bowls gonna be.

The way we beat the Titans, Bears, Cardinals and Colts skewed ppl's judgement. They beat the brakes off s**tty competition They had folks thinking the offense was better than it really was. In reality this offensive line can't run block or pass protect against real contenders. Our d line can't stop the run versus anybody.

We don't try anything different. The game script stays the same from kickoff to final whistle. The only change is players take matters into their own hands like Brock did vs Detroit in the NFCC game. Just decided to run like a madman to get the offense going.

A legit criticism. Also, not finding a way to use other players (Watkins, Tonges, Guerendo, etc) is maddening. Find a way.

Well that would be ideal! I took a peak and this draft seems to have a lot of decent OT prospects so we should be able to get one early. Edge looks thin as usual.

The OT prospects have been underwhelming. Much like QB the top guys disappointed. Best fit for 9ers is going back to Texas.

More likely a mid round developmental guy coming.

Edge is much better than OT overall.

A developmental OT is perfect for next year. If TW or mck get dinged up he can step in. If edgers are there, then go for it. As much as fans may hate it that's fine by me in round 1 (he'll round 2 as well)

did the Ravens run the same defense against Shanahan on that xmas game in 2023?
the one where Brock had multiple INTs?

The main complaint is no speed at receiver. Watkins standing on the sideline

Same coach so probably similar concept
Kyle is up for COTY, anyone who wants to get rid of him is just plain stupid. How do we even have a shot at first seed? Kyle is a genius.

Too much worry about who steps in when so and so gets hurt and not enough worry about the starters that shouldn't be starters.

It's the same story. Feast on the weak teams. Get owned by the good teams when the big pressure is on the line. I just don't see ever winning with this. He's good enough on overall record that they won't ever get rid of him. By keeping him we won't win either. It's a double edged sword. No he's not the only person who can ever coach this team.

Lol be quiet

He is good enough to make the playoffs and keep getting extensions but he isn't good enough to take that final jump.

Shanahan is the Prescott of the coaches.

Not anymore after last night. The offense was abysmal

yea. this is a real problem. and its mostly on kyle. he brown noses his fantasy football stars. this leads to a lot of tells in game situations. hes always been this way. no idea why. hes smarter than that.

I made this same point earlier. Kyle plays favorites. He sticks to the script and runs his players into the ground. Happened with Kittle, happened with Deebo, happened with CMC.
Tonges and kittle have been on the field together 7 times this season.
that's a helluva way to maximize your roster Kyle.
