Hurts to see that. KC beat the 49ers twice in the SB. Eagles in the NFCCG. Baltimore in the SB. Seattle in the NFCCG. LAR in the NFCCG. Only team missing that knocked us out since 2010 was the Giants in 2011.

We really should have had at least 1 SB in the Harbaugh era and 2 SBs in the KS era.

Sucks even more knowing that we're the only team on that list to have not won a super bowl during that period 😭

Yea, that is tough to see.

Where can I buy that hat, or is it custom made for the coaches.

Not available to the public…. Yet. His red trucker hat was the same way but the demand was so high they started to mass produce them. I think if he keeps wearing this hat the same thing will happen. I wish they would bring back the red trucker hat also
"They might not have won a Super Bowl, but the success they've had with him as head coach has been remarkable," White said. "He'll continue to be a really good coach, so some 49ers fans who doubt him might have to be careful what they wish for, because I don't know if they'll be able to find someone better who'll give them better results than what they've already had in recent years."

a nice actual nfl player perspective. I think Kyle is the team's greatest asset.

From a receiver who didn't think to kindly of Kyle after he left ATL.
Criticism is fair and warranted in some instances, but the reality is that we as 49ers' fans have it good with Kyle as the head coach of our team. Yeah, we haven't yet won a Super Bowl title with Kyle, and there are myriad reasons why that is the case. We are on the right path toward getting over that hump.

I was going to say that. He was one of the most vocal saying Kyle cost the city a Super Bowl. I think seeing how Atlanta collapsed the further removed they were from Kyle and how the 49ers rose like a phoenix in the same timeframe has given White some perspective. There's wise words in what he's saying.

I mean 9ers seasons 2016-2018.

then the Super Bowl appearance in 2019 bought him legit time...

then 2020 happen... yeah bad luck injuries right.

2021...yay 10-7 season, but we make it to the NFC Championship.. we lose in a similar fashion as in the past... up 10pts with like 7 mins to go.

2022...yay great season with a rookie QB...and bad luck at the end vs Eagles

2023..yay great season... but we got away with wins vs the Lions and Packers...then get to the Super Bowl and lose in similar fashions in the past.. up 10pts with toward the end of the game... decide to receive in OT, and make it easy for the Chiefs to end the game.

after the 2025 season?
Id be willing to cut Kyle some slack if I see his willingness to admit mistakes, take accountability and learn from mistakes, addressing them. So far I havent really seen that. Kyle is a stubborn guy from everything I've seen, and I hope he does change - but the thing is, I doubt he will.

I'd also like to see how he handles a big rebuild, which is kind of in the works. Part of reason why I think Sean McVay is a good amount ahead of him is that even without the hardware, the Rams handled the rebuild very well and quickly got good young players in the draft. Donald is gone, they have a really good cheap dline. Rams have a lot of draft capital next year to get a new QB and transition after Stafford too.

A lot of older coaches can't rebuild like that. Belichik couldnt after Brady left. A lot of guys who are HCs for a long time have a hard time changing their ways and adapting/adjusting to new generation of players who think and conduct themselves differently and might have different values, etc etc.
This idea that Kyle doesn't admit mistakes is silly. He admits them all the time through his actions: what players to keep, what plays to run, what coaches to hire.

Just because he doesn't admit his mistakes to the public to be flogged doesn't mean he doesn't admit mistakes to the people that matter (Jed York, John Lynch, coaches & players).
Kyle has already accomplished a big rebuild. Why wouldn't he and John be able to do it again?

Rams have a great d line but their back 7 still remains very questionable.

So you think he admits his mistakes internally and what is the proof of that ? wishful thinking ?

Part of admitting mistakes is to be able to admit to them publicly too. In fact, I'd argue it's as important because admitting mistakes publicly is always a big shot at your ego. Taking an ego down a few notches is part of recognizing mistakes and preventing future mistakes.

Kyle always is so defensive when anyone questioning him, trying to pull rank....

About the only time I heard him admit a mistake publicly is when they had to let go of Trey.

Not investing in an oline is also something that hes stubborn on, even though it can be argued that oline was at least one of the culprits in the last SB loss and it was def one the previous SB loss.

If Kyle comes out with a fresh new offense that isnt just rehash of previous years, and also invests in the oline in the near future, and also takes more time in player/human interaction, I'll eat some crow.
