-Bengals got Burrow

-Bills got Allen
-Dolphins got Tua
-Ravens got Jackson
-Buccaneers signed Brady
-Texans got Watson
-Browns traded for Watson
-Rams traded for Stafford
-Broncos traded for Wilson
Some of them are better than others but they all are better than Jimmy.
But yeah. Shanahan can´t get the QB position right in his 6th season because good QB´s are hard to find and when he mortaged the farm for a kid with a cannon arm he used him like a FB.
Absolutely correct
Yet, some still thought It made sense to bring Jimmy back because of his contract restructure. This Front office never learns.
I don't see that as the problem. That was insurance for exactly what happened, an injury to trey - the guy who this organization is all in on.
Not entirely the problem, but not the solution either.
It feels like he has regressed every year since we first traded for him, kinda like Kyle's play calling too to some extent.

He was fine in 2019. That guy you can win a SB with.

Question is will Kyle continue to use Trey like a FB next year or has he learned his lesson?

I think the better focus should be on Kyle doing it more sparingly to keep a defense honest. I think fewer designed QB runs are a good thing, but things like zone read, power read, option plays, and RPOs with running elements aren't going away.

Another question that needs to be asked.....does Kyle have enough time in the week to be a head coach AND draw up plays for the week? We've discussed how much Mike McDaniel helped last year. Now that MM is gone, can Kyle do it all himself? I'm beginning to wonder.

So Kyle10 sucks as a playcaller and now he has no staff to design plays and Mike McDaniels is superior in every way. We are doomed.

Its fun to watch the usual suspects make excuses for the exact same things used to justify going from Harbaugh to Tomsula.

Right?
The 2010 49ers were the overwhelming favorite to win the NFC West. He walked into a team with a Pro Bowl RB, TE, top LT, top DE, and All Pro LB.
Which of those did Kyle have?
Why was the head coaching job available if the roster was loaded and we were doing so well? What was our record the year before JH got here?
Kyle had full control of the roster, JH never had control of the roster.
lol why would JH change the roster in 2011 even if he had full control
The zone narrative:
Harbaugh takes a losing team and gets then to a nfc championship and superbowl his first 2 years. Uses alex smith. s**t coach.
Mcvay takes a losing rams team and gets them to superbowl in 2 years with Goff. s**t coach.
Shanahan losing record in 6 years. He's a genius and its all Jimmy's fault.
Gotta love the absurdity
For starters, that is not Mcvay's team. It was Jeff Fisher who drafted that team and was getting it in order. Harbaugh came to a loaded roster but both McVay and Harbs elevated the teams. I do believe Shanahan is like Harvaugh in that he never inproved the offense over his seasons and the nfl is finally catching up to it.

They both suck... McD inherited a very good team and is clickin right now.. . KS10 sucks because he rather lose by being pretty than winning ugly.

Pretty sure we need to move on. He has been a bottom tier playcaller this year. Just awful. The league has also caught up to the stuff he is doing. I've been a Kyle supporter but Kyle's offense keeps getting worse

Winning solves everything, a win on MNF and we're 2-2 with a 2-0 lead against division opponents, It's really that simple.
