49ers Head Coach Kyle Shanahan Thread

what's ironic is that Kyle didn't like Jimmy because he was prone to injury, now TL is just as injury prone or more so

So what is the plan now? Cut their losses with the draft capital and the investment. Extend Jimmy's contract?

This team doesn't have a plan.
They re-signed JG which proves there's a plan, at least for this season. Which is all that matters right now.

My gripe is what some have said- on the little we've seen he was very much using trey like a rb- ALOT. Not like a qb who can run when necessary. That's why I'm mad.

I'd be calling this kid regular pass after pass to get him the reps. I literally said last week he will never last if he keeps running this much.

we're lucky we kept jimmy. I feel this sick because Trey just needs experience but as a qb, not a rb who can throw.

And if Trey was throwing interceptions left and right that's a good way to develop a QB?

He has to throw it first before we can figure that out. and forget what ifs scenarios. Im telling you what we all saw.

Watch Deebo go down next on a run. It's stupid how deer sighted he gets with things.
man hollywood couldnt write this script

Just because you don't know what the plan is doesn't mean there isn't one.

Much better to develop him as a battering ram?

Playing to what a zone read QB in college feels comfortable with. Yes that is what you do. Sorry his bones aren't strong enough to withstand a 320lbs fat f**k landing on it bent backwards. But you didn't honestly didn't think Trey was gonna look like some of these passing QBs who played in a spread offenses in college did you?

I like Trey and I like Kyle but I don't like Kyle and Trey together. I don't see it working out with the 2.

I don't like kyle but I agree that they wont work together. Honestly mac wouldve been good here even tho he wasnt my favorite.

I hated Jones but he is a better fit for Kyle than Fields or Lance. Unfortunate
McDaniels & Saleh > Kyle

Then using 3 first round picks on a QB like that was dumb to begin with.. this Is the NFL, at some point, you've got to pass the ball. What Kyle did today was foolish

Rather have Mills in 2nd then Mac in first.

So are we ignoring how we used him against Houston last season? A game by the way we had to win.

We can agree on that.
Boy Kyle picked a terrible QB. He gave us nothing.

I would have rather just decided to run with Jimmy and keep all the picks if this was the vision Kyle had. Jones and Mills are below Jimmy

QB is still very young and has the potential. But it's also very possible that he was the wrong choice
