2017 Team Information (Needs)

Ok, i'll Throw in with you all. We all know we have to have a backup who can be a legit starter. But one of those in FA is going to be significantly more expensive than draft, but if there is a decent CB in FA who could be a backup but still be able to start, fine. But we still need at least one and probably 2 in Draft.

I say we get at least one more cb. I like melvin, desir or breeland. then wr, rb, foster insurance, guards and a bargain pass rusher.

With Sherman locked up, I could see Rashaan Melvin or Aaron Colvin or Bashaad Breeland at CB.

WR wise, Allen Robinson has to be the guy, if not, then Watkins, or Moncrief.

TE is a need, maybe Trey Burton

Agree with all above, AB, but the EDGE/LB line...how about all three Attachu, Barwin and Bradham. Needing 2 LBs is the pits after drafting one in rd 1 last yr. However, no use crying over spilled milk. But that EDGE/LB line...that looks great with all 3. It isn't like we don't need them all.

I think the next two priorities are Foster Insurance and OL. It doesn't mean we won't look at other positions, I just think they'll be driven to address starting holes in the roster before depth.

Well, I am waiting for an OL announcement coming by Wed. And would not be too terribly surprised with two. But one for sure is coming.

RB is going to be a priority in FA before the draft. I'm sure they want to land one of the many talented RBs in the draft but they can't go into it feeling like they need to take one at any given point unless the right guy falls to them at the right time

Just wanted to see who I would go for if we signed FAs at the positions you mentioned:

WR: AR15

TE: Jimmy Graham

OG: Sitton

Edge: B. Graham

LB: Bradham

RB: McKinnon

(Note: B. Graham isn't a FA- he'd have to be a trade deal.)

If our WR need is just for a tall good one, then that can be taken care of in the draft.
ER is certainly a big need and we might find one in FA but most likely in the draft.
Quality LBs can be had in FA and we could use one or two of them, if possible.
RB will be most likely addressed in the draft.
So a quality guard, or LB/ER is probably the next piece(s) of the puzzle for the Niners.

Would be nice to get that oline guy (maybe 2). I really do hope for us to land Moncrief, Burton, any one of the Edge/LBS and CBs AB81Rules listed.

Yeah now I get the whole GTD in March thing, it's only if he makes the Pro Bowl.
