I'm very happy with the state of the franchise going into the offseason. Lynch and his team have been amazing, from the draft to Jimmy to the off the street depth pickups.

Kyle the OC is as good as expected, Kyle the HC better than I thought, who keeps an 0-9 team as together in their 1st year? Even the great Belichick couldn't and got fired.

Jimmy is immense and the best thing is that he makes everyone around him better.

With the guys on IR returning (especially Garçon who will be a monster with Jimmy) although we have a lot of positions that could use an upgrade the only desperate needs IMO are interior O-Line, Edge rusher and Corner.

I have faith in these being fixed and I genuinely think a Super Bowl run is possible. Pumped

Would absolutely love to get Allen Robinson on this team. It would not only benefit the 49ers, but also help Robinson playing with a much better QB with a very good playcaller in control with Shanahan

A healthy 2016 Robinson would be right at the top of my wish list, however he wasn't playing well before he got hurt this year, and ACL's can be devastating for WR's, no thanks.

Garçon, Goodwin and Taylor are very good WR's in Kyle's scheme, I'd like to chuck in a mid level FA, or mid round draft pick for competition and depth, but I don't think it requires major investment unless the right piece of the puzzle is there.

Garçon is up there in age, Goodwin has concussion problems especially after what happened yesterday.

I'm sorry but I'm not too confident or wouldn't bank on them for next year.

Imo, Landry could be killer with his underneath routes and quick twitch is a lethal weapon. Especially having (if signed) Jimmy who also releases the ball very quickly. What a marriage

I'm with you Wu. Robinson tore his ACL on September 10th too so he'll have had a full year of recovery by the end of training camp. With Garcon back, we can bring him along slowly if needed. Keenan Allen certainly hasn't missed a beat coming back from his ACL.

I'm pretty much in agreement with this....although I might put center a bit higher on the list. It is a little harder to find good centers and that is a glaring need for the Niners. Kilgore is a gamer but the guy just isn't able to lock down those D-tackles. The team really needs a solid pass blocker at that position.

I know its a small sample size, but I'm just excited that Lynch and Shanahan are so in sync and know what they want in order to build a team. I loved Baalke's 2011 draft, but the dynamic between him and Harbaugh was always primed to explode. This is a much better approach. And the evidence is in how we got cornerstone additions in the 3rd (Witherspoon), 5th (Taylor), 5th (Kittle), and 7th (Colbert). It makes me excited to see what Joe Williams can do next season.

Even D.J. Jones didn't look lost as a NT, but was obviously outplayed by Earl Mitchell, who is another example of a great value signing for a guy who fits what you want your team to be.

Super excited to see what Lynch, Shanahan & Peters have planned for this off-season

I'm not sure if it was MattMai whose podcast I was listening to a month ago, but the beat guy said the coaches were hoping Malcolm Smith would hold the middle, but we needed another OLB to complement Foster. Also, a corner. I was surprised at this as I know how much a top-notch edge guy would mean to this team.

Now there's that Bama backer, Minkhah at corner, and Ardon Key at edge who might be available at 9/10. Plus Nelson OG and an outside shot at Barkley RB on O. I think Chubb, my favorite, 3 down edge guy, will be gone.

I mean, there are some truly desperate teams out there, from the clueless like the Browns and Jets to good organizations like the Broncs and Giants who will all be QB hunting. Darnold (coming out?), Rosen, Allen, Jackson, Mayfield... Somebody's gonna take somebody.

We should wind up with a top notch prospect at a position of need for our #1 pick - doesn't get better than that.
