Decent players but just hoping to get some guys you say "WOW" watching them go after a ball or once it's in their hands...haven't had that here for a while. Hyde to me seems close but not quite.

Shanny will improve the run game and Hoyer is OK at qb. There should be improvement but still well below average.
One round in, already 100 times better than Baalke.
Thomas, who said he was starstruck when he realized he had a class with Lynch, worked on a project with his now-boss evaluating whether the Washington Redskins should change their nickname. He and Lynch have kept in touch since, making Lynch's evaluation of Thomas relatively easy leading up to the Niners' pick.

Nice. They took the same Stanford class together

Maybe I'm getting more stupid by the day but can Niner fans explain why they think losing a handful of 3rd round picks to move up 1 spot and take the QB they want was such a bad move for Chicago? Are people really forgetting what the Lambs gave up for Jared Goff??? What the Eagles gave up for Wentz??? Both teams gave up multiple picks and actual first rounders. Who gives a crap about 2 3rd round picks if you're Chicago.

The point is they didn't need to. He was gonna be there at #3 for them anyway.

Lynch played them. he made it sound like they had other offers to jump into their spot to take Trubisky so the bears had to act. Lynch played them like a savvy vet in his first draft lol
Lynch getting a lot of credit here. It's like giving all the credit to Steve Kerr.

#Bears gave a 3rd, 4th & future 3rd to move from No. 3 to 2. In 2012, #Browns went from No. 4 to 3 for a 4th, 5th & 7th for Trent Richardson

He was a Seachicken spy.

No way to know that at all, come on. So now hedging your bet is known as getting fleeced? Yes, the Niners did a great job since they knew the truth but from Chicago's standpoint, it was a great move for them too, if Mitch was truly who they wanted all along. You have 2 teams in front of you all off-season who desperately need a QB, I'd say they got their wish.
are they doing a presser today with foster and thomas? They seem like 2 different personalities so it would be cool to seem them together.

Word I feel the exact same way.

No because there were other teams who wanted to jump the Bears to the #2 spot to get Trubisky. Bears were bidding against other teams for that spot. That is why we got a great deal.
