I'd rather have him returning kicks instead of Cowing. Might be nice to play alongside his brother.

Could be a decent rotational #3 or #4 WR too on certain situations. But yah mainly for Special Teams.

I think we are Ok with Bosa, White, Mykel and Height at DE.

Buckner gives us a solid DT group with Osa and Halton.

I'd do a 1st if he came with an extension

Good luck running on this 5 DLine set

DE- Bosa
DT- Odiahizuwa
DT- Halton
DT- Buckner
DE- Williams

Buckner doesn't stop the run. I swear people are more emotionally attached to him and don't actually remember his play. All romanticized

81 tackles and 11 TFL's in 2023!!!

You don't get those stats as a DT not being able to stop the run.

Yep, I agree with you. We are still feeding on the player he was, but he isn't that anymore.

Buckner is ranked just two spots higher than Gracen Halton. Buckner will be 33 before the playing year ends. We may be seeing the beginning of a decline in play due to his age. In the meantime, Halton is 10 years younger and just getting started. In addition, we have the Hulk who is also stacking some good reps.

Now, if Indy, and Buckner continue to struggle, a 7th might be worth it to add a rotational guy.

Ya it's not worth to bring him in unless he's gonna be cheap (which is very doubtful)

Too high of a salary for a rotational guy.

Trey McBride

This would be amazing. And worth some real draft capital. Not sure they'd make him available. He is the closest thing perhaps to Kittle. I need to see how his blocking game looks.

A'Shawn Robinson is an interior defensive lineman for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers who earned a 89.1 overall PFF defensive grade in the 2026 season, 1st among 133 qualified interior defensive linemans. His PFF pass-rush grade of 58.3 ranked 90th among 133 qualified interior defensive linemans. His run-defense grade of 89.3 ranked 2nd at the position.

Been talking about him for years as a cheap DT signing. He's played all over the place and has been a quality run stuffer who can bring a little juice as a rusher.

We can just toss it in the bin of things that would never happen.
these are players i always liked and think can be difference makers

simmons

buckner

derwin james (not a position of need now, but he is a star)

and a short fast wr who can return punts and turn screens into big gains like shaheed or shakir

He has, that's why I don't think he will be cheap to trade for. Our DTs are fine, it's edge/WR that we could use.

Colts arent gonna be out of it enough to want to trade either. Both HC and GM are gone if they have a losing season. They'd have to be fired before the deadline for it to be reasonable.
