only a third of the season completed, we can say that lynch has had his 1st good offseason so far, and this is without seeing what kirk or hobbs can provide.

none of the guys that left are being missed, and some of the ones we signed are being difference makers

I think we are Ok with Bosa, White, Mykel and Height at DE.

Buckner gives us a solid DT group with Osa and Halton.

I'd do a 1st if he came with an extension

Good luck running on this 5 DLine set

DE- Bosa
DT- Odiahizuwa
DT- Halton
DT- Buckner
DE- Williams

Buckner doesn't stop the run. I swear people are more emotionally attached to him and don't actually remember his play. All romanticized

Yep, I agree with you. We are still feeding on the player he was, but he isn't that anymore.

Buckner is ranked just two spots higher than Gracen Halton. Buckner will be 33 before the playing year ends. We may be seeing the beginning of a decline in play due to his age. In the meantime, Halton is 10 years younger and just getting started. In addition, we have the Hulk who is also stacking some good reps.

Now, if Indy, and Buckner continue to struggle, a 7th might be worth it to add a rotational guy.

Too high of a salary for a rotational guy.

Struggle? Rotational guy? I swear some of you guys don't watch anything other than 49ers

He has 24 tackles and 4 sacks as well as 16 pressures

To put it in perspective Osa and Halton have 23 tackles and 2 sacks with 22 pressures COMBINED.

Buckner is on pace for 82 tackles, 13.5 sacks and 55 pressures and a guaranteed 1st team All Pro at DT if he keeps up this pace.

Buckner would IMMEDIATELY become our 2nd best linemen behind Bosa and would make our D much better

Ya it's not worth to bring him in unless he's gonna be cheap (which is very doubtful)

Buck has been pretty damn good this yr.

He has, that's why I don't think he will be cheap to trade for. Our DTs are fine, it's edge/WR that we could use.
Buck has been doing what Winters did last year, tackling after the first down marker

This isn't true at all. I don't know what's with you guys slamming players who don't play with us anymore. I heard it with Deebo and Greenlaw last year and now they are back to being board favorites.

Every time he's on I focus on him

Yeah it does, cause guys like you want to glaze players and you really don't watch them

rewatched the game and I hope a move Lynch makes this season is extending Keion White. He was really damn good in the game, and been a beast all season. only 27 years old, he's improving each game. dude needs to be a 49er for a few more years

Agreed, give him a 2-3 yr deal for like $3.5m-$4m a yr range

I don't know how the rest of the season will go, but I think there is a good chance he will get a lot more money elsewhere.

All of this means nothing because it makes zero sense for the Colts to do this. Ballard actually wants the Colts to make the playoffs this year so he is retained.

Wait, are you saying that Buck chasing down Mariota 20 yards downfield is a bad play?

Find me another DT that makes that play. I will wait.

And I said I could care less if you watch every snap because your opinion means nothing.

He can wish all he wants. The Colts offense is brutal. They aren't going anywhere with that team

This is an interior DL
Chasing down a mobile QB
On an outside run
For 20 yards

And you don't think this is a highlight?

I just rewatched it a bit more, that looks like an 80 yard TD run.

I think anyone not wanting Buck on this team is just overreacting to the young guys. Halton has been great as has Osa but Buckner is on a different level. Would you trade Buck for them? Obviously not but if Colts were trying to get draft capital he's easily worth a 3rd for a team trying to win a SB right now.

But I don't think he's going anywhere.
