Jennings was a beast for us and made tonnes of plays.

Don't be like all the other part time fans and slam him when he is not on this team anymore

With all our injuries at receiver I'd welcome him back in a heartbeat.

Kirk is supposed to back soon though and Cooks just got here. I don't think receiver is a big need right now

Not slamming him, but we need speed.

Nearly all of Purdy's INTs last season were targets to JJ.. coincidence?

I agree. I know stats wise not much to see, but Cowing and Watkins and even Evans have speed. Defenses have to respect that. In prior years they knew our offense thrived over the middle with in and out routes and not verticals so defenses started to sit on them. They can't do that so easily with our current makeup. Yes, we could still use more speed regardless. Pudy/Kyle almost need to take the random deep shot on the outside to keep them honest.

I will agree on the fact that every draft is different and the coaching staff and particularly Kyle has a lot of input on the offensive side.

But I also think that things have been different since Adam Peter's left. For whatever reason, whether we've gotten over the Trey Lance disaster, or because John Lynch has taken more control since Adam left, there have been some strategic changes. Things like trading down instead of trading up, and an emphasis on great athleticism (example Enrique Cruz)

When you say *they* gave Saleh the 2025 draft, I agree with you, and I think they also gave the 2026 draft to Raheem. Matt Eberflus and Gus Bradley (i think) have been instrumental in those two drafts also. Halton, Ephiseians and Dugger, I think, are Raheem/Eberflus/KJ Wright picks. I think Kyle finally got the DC that he wanted all along and Raheem and Eberflus have changed the valuation of certain defensive positions.

I also like how they have built young depth even at QB and every other position (Rourk, James Thmpson, Sebastian Valdez) i think they really tried to bolster depth due to our Substation's annual required player sacrifices. All in all, I think Kyle has stepped back a bit from the draft and is trusting John more on his abilities to pick players for him. We'll see if John's contract is extended. 4-0 record, for now, shows the answer should be a big *yes!*

Upton Stout
Dominic Puni
Marques Sigle
Connor Colby
Kaelon Black
De'Zhaun Stribling
Jaden Dugger
Gracen Halton

These are all draft picks post Adam Peters, all of which are either starters, future starters, or heavy contributors. I'd say Lynch should be extended. Best roster in the NFL going on 7 years, even considering the garbage 2022 (minus Purdy) and 2023 drafts.

All those guys suck because they weren't high on mock draft lists. /s

For the defense I'd say Khalil Mack & Vita Vea.

I remember an older guy like Tim Harris that contributed in '95

Mack still has juice and isn't a big deal dead cap wise. I may be mistaken but isn't it around $28 mil dead cap for Vea:

POST-6/1 TRADE
2026 Dead Cap: $8,534,460
2027 Dead Cap: $19,644,000

You guys are dreaming if you think Lynch is gonna pick up two more players. Remember he already traded for Osa this season. Honestly what he needs to do is spend a 1st and more to get a real player in here to move the needle.

I'm telling you all:

Jeffrey Simmons. Call Saleh. Offer him CJ West, a 1st and another mid-round pick.

Shoot don't look at me, I'm all for that!!! Anything that involves a 1st round pick count me in. I want someone that's gonna make a difference!!!
Major pass on Vita or Mack. We don't need to waste assets on old washed up players
