You've obviously never been to SoFi

The Rams did this to save face on that 1st round QB pick, they said everyone wants to talk about us then Lets give them something to talk about.

Geez! This sucks.

I mean… we were saying the same thing when they traded for Goff. And Peters/Talib. And Ramsey. And Stafford. And Von Miller. And now McDuffie and Garrett.

I do think people are overreacting but at the same time the Rams have shown there are always more picks in the future… heck if any trades turn out bad you can just make more! I totally get why people might be tired of this while our biggest moves are CMC and Trent Williams (Trey Lance didn't really work out and Dee Ford only kinda did).

Osa was perhaps our biggest trade in like the last 4 years for comparison.

I mean, the Stanford trade did get them a ring. At least their FO is 100% committed to winning rings. Can't say the same about Jeb

That's what I'm saying. You're agreeing with my main point.

The Rams just keep making big moves over and over again for 10 years now since they got to LA and every single time I'm told "it's okay they'll fall apart in 2 years they're going all in and not thinking about the future etc etc" and here they are 10 years later they're still contenders. They had ONE reset year in 2022 and that was it. One.

I'm just saying maybe our FO should stop being so hesitant. We're hoarding cap space and draft picks and for what, exactly? So we can draft a bunch of players two rounds early and essentially destroy the value of the picks themselves anyway? So we can have enough cap space for the one in a million splash move that may come along but never does? Because we're afraid we might have a Trey Lance trade but still be fine on the field?

I'm just sick and tired of people saying "well the Rams sure gave up a lot though…" no **** and it NEVER seems to bother and bite them. We have 10 years of data now since they got to Los Angeles and started to make massive moves all the time. I don't think they regret a single one, not even the occasional bad one!

They already won 1 Super Bowl with the all in strategy.

Who was the Rams big trade in the last 5 years before this year? Rams made those moves at the right time for them. When we were in position to make moves like that we made them - Trent Williams, CMC. Just couldn't close it out in the end to make it count unfortunately.

Let's not forget that we're somewhat mirroring what the Rams did in their rebuild post their off year after their SB. Once again the main difference is they held a 3 point lead to win their SB and we couldn't.

Rams offloaded majority of the guys you listed and hit the draft heavy to find youth and depth. They went 10-7 in back to back seasons after that down year.

So far we've got one up on them going 12-5 after our rebuild season and actually won a playoff game unlike their first season post rebuild. Question is...can we stick to the path they were on? If we do I imagine at the same point in our rebuild process we'd be more likely to swing for the fences.

So tired of being so ginger around cap space!!!

Sometimes it feels like the FO is content with being a perennial contender but never actually winning the Lombardi.

This is exactly how I feel!!! Especially when I hear s**t like Shanahan will never get fired. The seat is so cold, why risk anything? I'd love a different approach for once, that Les Snead approach where we acquire McDuffie and Garrett in the same year!!! I love the Osa trade but C'mon Lynch put your f**kin balls out there!!!!

Why should Kyle get fired? He's doing a fantastic job maximizing the talent on the team. We need a new GM.

I don't think Davis will ever trade us Crosby but there's a ton of FA guys we should be getting right now. How Tyreke Hill isn't already signed is a mystery to me since he knows the offense already and even at 80-90% he's still a game changing burner
Well I think we're f**ked... Can't compete with them at this point...

Wasn't just the Stafford trade. They lucked into getting Von Miller on that "aging vet wants to go to a winning team special" and then Browns(what is it with this friggin team!!) cut OBJ and of course he signed with them.

But once again. We were in the exact position the Rams were in 2021 and had every chance to finish with the Lombardi but 2 key injuries, some brutal turnover luck and decisions stopped it from happening. Jed had the right team in place, they just didn't close it out. And I can guarantee had the refs favored us the way they did the Rams in their SB, we win.

Just trash luck on our part but you can't point to the Rams doing something so different from us. If we're being real had we not been as banged up as we were we're playing in that SB. Not to mention I don't know if that Rams team would've done well playing in the freezing temps of Lambeau had we not knocked out the #1 seed for them. Oh yeah and F Tartt!

Hopefully this year we don't help them out...

Like I said earlier watch us panic and trade for Crosby now lol. Hey I know the same people worshipping the Rams right now will say we're panicking but I'll respect it!

They already won 1 Super Bowl with the all in strategy.

Facts! Any day now, our strategy will bring us multiple SB's.

This.

I don't have a problem with Kyle as a coach. I do have a problem with how scared our FO is that they hoard picks to reach with and hoard cap space that just gets rolled over. It's hoarding with low efficiency.

Whether Kyle has responsibility in that, I don't know, but whoever does should be held accountable—whether it's firing Lynch or stripping any GM-power that Kyle has.
