We could've offered McCorkle and Nick Bosa; the Rams offer would still be stronger

Yeah but if we offered them Fred Warner, Nick Bosa, DMO, Purdy, Kittle, Evans and Williams then we totally woulda got Garrett and some cap relief. Which is winning

WHY in the world would Shanny tell Lynch to offer the entire Ranch for someone like 95 ??? Shanny don't need and want this type of dude, he wants someone taken in the late round and allow him to develop while not effecting our salary cap for years !!

he wants to save all our future picks first, save some money second, then WIN last..

Like I said, Les Snead says "f**k the picks"!!!! The only positive from this is that the Rams won't have Jared Verse and Myles Garrett on the D-line!!! 9ers didn't have anything to trade but two 1st round picks for Garrett. Jared Verse gave the Rams the edge and who knows Snead must suck a good dick!!!

Mykes Garrett would've been frickin great for the 9ers. But I never thought the 9ers could get him in the first place, but they can throw picks at any impact Safety!!!

The division has won multiple Superbowls recently……….none were us
None of them had to face the chiefs

the point is.. the extremes these teams need to make to beat us

FU Lynch is right

This may be difficult for some of you guys to understand but we don't have a Jared Verse type pass rusher on a rookie contract to offer up the Browns.

The Rams and 49ers are also in different positions as teams right now. If you want to throw logic out the window because the move was just announced, I get it.

But maybe take a breath.

But we do have Mac Jones. The Browns need a QB. We could have packaged Mac & Mykel and that would have been decent with a 20271st.

We just don't have any faith that John took a swing.

I heard we did offer that but the Rams offer was considerably stronger. Sorry

"We looked at what we have, and we like the guys on our team". Standard response.

I think if we want to stop the understandable overreaction(yes you can grieve it's fresh but let's just be real about it) and think about things...I think the team understands they're still maybe a year away from making a real push.

Now I like what they've done this offseason and I think we're a better team for it BUT I also think we have our hands full with the division. Seattle didn't really lose anyone critical and still a large threat and the Rams clearly made huge moves(tho I'm still not sure wtf they were thinking with the Simpson pick) and have to be the favorites in the division.

We'll see what the team can do and maybe if we stay healthy and our young guys step up we make the playoffs and make a run. One thing about the Rams making a move like this is their window is much smaller but it's while it's there it's a BIG window. But we've been on the other side of a top heavy roster. They've been very lucky injury wise. Couple of impact injuries to that top heavy roster and it all falls apart for them. 49ers have shown they can still compete when banged up.

I would've loved Myles Garrett cuz I think he's a game changer but he's still one player. Let's see how it all shakes out. I think we have more holes on our roster so adding cheap youth may be the smarter path for us. Rams the move made a ton of sense. I was just hoping Browns weren't this stupid.
This is really going to stink, but got to hand it to the Rams owners and GM for building their team along with a better stadium to play in. Why wouldn't a player want to go there.

"Building their team" only one drafted player in that list and pretty much their team is all trades and FA

This is what we call cosmic bad karma. The Rams blew a game to us in 2016 and cost us Myles Garrett on a rookie deal and beyond.

Now they get him on their team to haunt us. Thanks Kap, so glad we got that 2 point conversion to get us to that amazing 2-14 record. At least we stuck it to the Rams during their playoff push as a 4-12 squad.
Watch us freak out and trade for Maxx Crosby now lol
Alright I've digested it and honestly not even that big of a deal. You see we already didn't block the Rams D line so like it's a negligible difference. We still good

The Coyote and the Roadrunner come to mind. Snead always one step ahead of John.

I'd just take adding Joey Bosa. But that's wanting to much

I want to preface this by saying I know Garrett is better than Verse, but I don't think by much. This trade honestly doesn't scare me that much. I initially thought Verse and Garrett would be teamed up together, which did scare me. But after I read the details, the rams lost out.

The browns get a VERY good edge rusher who could become elite. They also got elite draft compensation and cap relief.

The rams are obviously selling out on garrett this year. This is not a good trade looking at the next 2-4 years imo. Myles is already 30 years old. He's the highest paid defender (I think). One injury can derail this entire thing. I looked up stats, and he is surprisingly durable. I'll give him that. He's missed 15/149 regular season games. But still he's older and the body starts to break down right about now.

Anyways Kyle was always at least pretty good at containing Aaron Donald. He did OK with Verse. Im hoping he can scheme some clever blocks and we can count of Purdys shiftiness to get out of tight situations.

Don't panic. We'll be ok. Or we won't be. Who cares

Need to take an insurance policy on Brock now. No wonder why we gave Mac a bonus last week.
The Rams are doing everything in their power to win a Super Bowl, they won't and have no future now.. f**king love it.. Anyone that thinks this is a good trade is hilarious
