It's Garrett Wilson people. That's your reasonable target. Justin Jefferson and Jamar Chase are virtually untouchable, they're both worth QB trade capital. Wilson is much more reasonable because he hasn't had a 1200 yard season yet, had an injured down year in 2025 and doesn't fit the Jets timeline at all.

Jets already said during last years trade deadline that they don't want to trade him.

That was before they failed to secure the #1 pick in this draft. Their timeline got shifted back another season.

They have more than enough capitol to acquire the number one overall pick. Where are you getting your information from?

Mendoza is the only QB worth drafting in this draft.

The Raiders are taking him.

Hope this helps!

But where are you getting that they wanted to move up for the #1 overall pick and got denied?

Nowhere — I'm saying at the trade deadline they were 1-7 and had a very real chance of getting the #1 overall pick and a future franchise QB, so they had a fair reason to hold onto Garrett Wilson amidst their fire sale. Now that the season played out they do not have the #1 overall pick.

Not a bad idea.
I think Lynch gets far too much flak here. He built a Superbowl roster, but other factors intervened. This year might have been the masterstroke. The plan clearly worked, we got cheaper and cleared the decks, wasn't a rebuild as much as a crash diet.

The plan was to put youngsters around our stars, it worked, the stars just got injured.

Those youngsters got valuable reps and were put in leadership positions, they should fine everything much easier being able to lean on guys like Fred and Bosa.

Lynch is doing a good job

Exactly. 13 wins will attest to that

Lynch is doing a good job

Ill expand on this with my opinion.

I do think he is a good GM...I do not think he is a great GM.

He built 2 superbowl rosters that the team should have won. (At least I think so.)

I do think KS's coaching has covered for some of Lynch's mistakes.

Where we are at now is an aging roster that is going to struggle against the Seattle and LA rebuilds unless Lynch knocks it out of the park this year.

He has also missed on all his first round picks minus bosa

We had the better team both losses in my opinion to KC but our DL didn't dominate the QB as they had previously and as they were paid drafted and invested in to do. Now was that because of how elite KC OL play was in the Super Bowl all of a sudden? I'm not sure how much or what Lynch could do to win us those games

KC is like the Niners in some ways. They saw the effect of being on top every year and having an aging roster without a lot of depth because of salary issues. The Niners are going through that same thing.

lol the massive amount of holding nullified the pass rush.

I wonder if there's any truth to this. It sounds like pure speculation, but maybe?

I wonder who they'd bring in…
I choose to look at the roster in a glass is half full way. Our stars are aging, however I think the last couple drafts we did a good job of getting a bunch of guys that will be the solid role players, rotational guys and depth pieces that will form the foundation for the team moving forward. This and next offseason will be crucial and we absolutely need to find the young stars and transformational players that will put us back in the elite team conversation.

If I were Lynch, I would go hard in the paint to sign Linderbaum from Baltimore, Rashawn Gary from the Packers, and either Alec Pierce from the Colts or Romeo Dobs from the Packers. Then in round 1 draft KC Concepcion who I see as the can't miss player at that position, then all trenches and linebackers after that.

Seems dumb to have let Peters leave and then end up hiring a GM right after. I didn't understand why they didn't replace "promote" Lynch and have Peters take over.
