Lynch was probably focused on Jiayir Brown and saw him fail to do something he did routinely (run the alley)as a player.

I get the rationale, but I'm tired of the free agent center. They did it with Weston Richburg and Alex Mack. Get a high IQ, athletic, but strong guy and build him into the center that you want. Someone where if you put them one on one against any of the elite DTs you would expect to win. A guy that can hold his block or accurately make the correct call on pass downs and move his man in the run game + get to the second if not 3rd level to make more blocks. The Seattle front 4 isn't going anywhere and although we had to deal with Aaron Donald, we are more or less able to handle him because it was one guy. But what do you do with a dominant front 4? We're going to need to dominating O-line along with receivers where we can get the ball in their hands quick and they possibly make a play.

Thats easier said than done. It takes years to develop that type of center you want. Rarely do college centers come in ready to play
It's truly time to fire John lynch. Get rid of this clown and bring someone in who knows what they're doing. This has been an embarrassment in roster building.

Fixing the OL and secondary should be the priority going into the off-season.

Fix the d line too. They have zero pass rushers on this current roster outside of Bosa

Nick has two ACLs and two seasons lost already after we've paid him Aaron Donald money
This guy needs to go. Watching the players on Seattle made me so jealous of how they draft. Someone mentioned it in the game thread they draft athletes and coaches them up. We care more about how nice a person you are.
The overreaction to one loss in a 12-5 season before even playing the postseason has been just a bit much the last 24-hours.

However, the team really needs to build up the trenches on both sides to have a more realistic chance against the top competition of the league. OL and DL need to be the top priority this offseason.

Some key parts were injured on the defensive side for much of the year. Bosa and Warner of course. Mykel Williams wasn'rt dominating but he was improving each week. Now he's missed some valauble experience. They definirely need a better edge rusher opposite Bosa. The filll in guys get an occasional sack but they need someone that can get consistent pressure. The interior line might be better next year with Collins and West getting some experience this season. Another good LB would help a lot. The secondary is a question mark. Lot's of young guys playing there that showed some promise.

Whigh is why they have to be built. But we did have chances. Creed Humphrey in the 21 draft over Aaron Banks comes to mind.

I've been suggesting trying Puni at center and finding a capable guard. Look for guys who are athletic yet strong enough to handle the best tackles, which means we have to look at day 1 or 2 only. It's not an impossible task.

Yes, how terrible to have the team playing in meaningful games in January. Just awful of him to do that. He needs to build a 2-15 roster to really show this fanbase how to lose unimportant games!

The inconsistent/poor play from the secondary is a direct reflection on the lack of a 4 man rush.
