Not sure how waivers work, but if there's a chance to bring him in, you do it. Instant upgrade on the OL. He's already familiar with the system, so as long as he's healthy it's plug and play.

no, he's not. Tomlinson is actually one of the worsts OL in the whole league,.... this is why he's been released,... he's washed and next feb he'll be 34

Last time he played in KS system, it made him rich. He cashed in cause he could play, think Mac Jones.

he was released by the Texans who run the same offensive system,...the system wasn't the problem, but even if it was he would find the same system here,... the problem was that he's washed

and at 34 he's not going to miraculously regain past years' form just because he's under KS,... and Mac Jones is in his prime, nothing to do

You think Burford is better? I don't think Burford is better.

Yes. Burford is probably better but not by much.

It would probably be a lateral move but adding Laken would offer some nice depth. If we lose Burford or Puni we will have to start Colby and that was not a good experiment

If we still have our 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th and then at least three comp 4ths/5ths, that's not a bad situation to be in draft capital wise. I still don't know I fully agree with hoarding our picks (and I still think it's questionable to really call the 2024 and 2025 drafts home runs already… though they're hanging in there) but I understand being patient and continuing to use the draft capital we have is important regardless of how this season turns out.

According to OTC we should get 3 4th's for losing Banks, Ward & Hufanga, no other comp picks right now likely since Mac played so many games, had he not then the 49ers would likely have gotten another 4th or a 5th but it's worked out since the 49ers are 9-4, likely at least the 7 seed, if not higher, not sure I'd want to face the 49ers in the playoffs if I'm another NFC team.

Yeah no thanks, let Dallas pay him $30M+ a yr, never been a big Pickens fan, seems to have an attitude issue, reason PIT traded him, I'd rather just draft another WR, though I prefer an OL, than pay another WR ridiculous money, hasn't worked out, Deebo didn't, Aiyuk hasn't, just stick to what we have plus a rookie & cheaper players, sick of overpaying players just because.

This
Yea

Part of the reason you get a Purdy paid is because he should be able to elevate the play of your offense from the QB position so we should spend the money at other positions.

Tom Brady had a Randy Moss for only
one year and yet he didn't win with him.
The only free agent WR I'm interested in signing is Jennings, but not for $20-22m/year, so he'll probably get more somewhere else.
The team should be adept enough at scouting to draft a guy who will turn into the first true #1 WR we've had since TO b***hed his way out.

Ya no thanks. Very talented, but he's drama queen.
Draft a WR and spend money on the trenches.

I'm not a fan of signng any WR to big contract. Nearly every one of them is available because they're unhappy and a constant source of whining. I'd prefer using the money to sign an established O line or D line player.

A better oline can give Brock time to hit almost anyone they bring in

Agreed no more big money contracts to WRs.

Give me Alec Pearce over George Pickens. At least Pearce doesn't throw hissy fits if his team is losing.
