Oh yea, the Rams have two first round picks in 2026 including a top 10 pick from Atlanta as it stands...

A huge reason for that is they hit on their recent defensive line draft picks. Byron Young and Jared Verse stand out there, but Turner and Fiske haven't done bad either. We tried to employ that same strategy this past offseason but so far it hasn't worked out as well. Mykel shows great promise as a base down run defender. Collins looks like another base down run defender. We'll see what happens with those two I guess.

In short the Rams FO is better than ours. Even with limited picks they draft better than we do. They also went out and got HOF qb while we roll out Jimmy G, Lance and Purdy.

Yeah it's not really a debate. Just comparing the rosters they have way more young legit players than this team does.

It doesn't feel to me that the QB position here needs a HOFer. In fact seeing what Kyle has done to Darnold, Jones, JG, Purdy I'd just as well spend less on that position and have more $ to spread around. The areas of neglect seem to be WR and OL. Take Purdy's $, spread it around the OL and pull another QB off the scrap heap like he did with all of those others and we're in business.

So that's a flawed roster? Having a top QB who is playing like an MVP, a top 5 WR, a fantastic D line is nothing? Oh yea, this is on the heels of a SB win in 2021-22. They also have 2 good young RBs, 3 good TEs, a decent O line and a playmaker at safety.

They are a good team with a good roster.

And like I said, they are getting better - they have 2 first round picks next year.

Yet our team was able to beat that team when we had Warner.

Never said they weren't a good team. But they wouldn't be a good team minus Stafford Davante Puka and Verse.

Has there ever been a weirder situation with 3 players like Purdy, BA, and Pearsall? We're all just living week by week hoping and praying they come back soon. Every week when someone ask what their status is and if they're coming back John and Kyle are like

I don't know why people are expecting BA back. He literally f**ked up his whole leg. It was unrealistic he was playing this season. It wasn't just an ACL.

The Rams are keeping all their hopes on Stafford's back holding out. You know they were sweating bullets before this season started when he missed most of the offseason but was cleared just before this season started. He's had a history of back issues and is turning 38 this Feb.

The Rams minus Stafford would be up the creek. Yet even with Stafford this season, the Niners beat the Rams while playing without their QB1 Purdy and also no Kittle, Bosa, Aiyuk, and Pearsall.

I mean we're fans and we were given some timelines about a year ago. It initially was week 6, then pushed to 8, then week 10. So that's why

I recall week 6 being the most optimistic window. I never believed that. Thanksgiving was the window I expected to be in play based on the extent and severity of his injuries and my own somewhat limited knowledge of sports med.

He rebuilt his d line and hit on a wr. It's a flawed roster propped up by a top qb and d line.

well they really hit on QB, something we haven't done since Steve young

Didn't need to make a big splash at the deadline. But needed to do something and give up a 3rd- 4th for someone that can press the QB.

Guys looked defeated from the go. At the very least it sends a message to the locker room that they're trying even if they're not.

My god, Keion White was being punk by the Tight End pass blocking. Guy is better on the interior.

Dude literally hurt his balls in practice less than 6 days ago, but they let him play anyhow

I guess you have to be special / teacher's pet in order to be 100% before Shnnany will allow you to play and chance aggravating injury. Since he's the new guy, I guess they told him he has to get out there... even if one nut?

In all fairness, initially after the injury first occurred the thought was that he would miss the entire 2025 season.

I think that has been the correct timeline all along. These reports about earlier timelines have all been complete BS.

What's he talking about? All of them have started games at some point, therefore they're all starters. What a success by the personnel department!
