This move literally confirmed that Kittle will never win a Super Bowl with the 49ers. Trent, Kittle, and CMC should have been offloaded, should def be traded headed into next season.

All these folks complaining but none of them really say who we should have traded for and what the compensation should have been. If you wanted QW or Sauce Gardner then tell us what the 49ers compensation should have been. Keep in mind it would have to beat the offer they accepted.

Cincy wanted a 1st for Hendrickson. No way in hell any of you would want to give that up for a 8 game rental. Well maybe some of you judging by the comments. Even Jerry Jones said f that.

Jets wanted a 2nd for Johnson. I think that's too much and apparently the other 30 teams who didn't trade for him think so too.

Bradley Chubb is worth a ham sandwich at this point. I personally don't think he's better than anyone we have right now. Maybe worth a 7th rounder

There are reports that Cincy didn't want a 1st for Hendrickson. But regardless, I would have done our 1st if he came extended.

I would have done a 3 and Ja'iyr Brown for Minkah all day long

QW is a premier DT. We won't draft a guy like him. A 2 this year and a 2027 1st plus Jennings would have beat the Cowboys offer.

So ya, we don't have a 1 and 2 this year and a 1 in 2027 but who cares? We have a cake walk schedule and with those 3 additions we could basically walk into the playoffs and have a chance to win the SB at home. Instead, we punted this year and will let Shanahan blow those picks on players who will never be as good as the guys we could have traded for and we will still be searching for a DE, DT and S this offseason.

Do you think the Rams regret trading all those picks so they could win a SB?

I saw someone make the point that had we made the Keion White trade yesterday instead of the week prior people would've been happy.

Because Jerry is an idiot, that's why! A 1st, 2nd and player is too much. I get that QW is good, but keep in mind that he's also making $20+mil per year, could we afford that? No. After this week's Raiders game they got Eagles, KC and Lions. Soon to be 4-8-1 so QW trade won't mean much when they watching playoffs from home. Plus we also needed an edge a lot more than interior. In the end I still think we can complete, if you look at NFC there is no team that stands out as the best, it's still wide open race and we'll be right in the middle of it.

$20M a year in 2026-2027 is really not going to be that much. Just cutting Huff would open up all the space we would need.

All these posts about what Lynch should have done. Hilarious because none of us knows who he talked to and what was discussed. Ther 49ers have holes to fill in the 2026 draft. They weren't in position to trade a 1st and 2nd round pick like the Cowboys were. I'm sure Lynch talked to many teams prior to the trading dealine but they were either asking too much or there were issues. Physical and maybe financially.
