We didn't even keep our own high priced free agents, what made yall think we were in the trade market?
We have a ton of dead $ on the books. We sellers at best, not buyers.

Regardless of whether or not Lynch made a trade, he needs to go. We need a fresh GM that actually draft to our needs. Our Oline has sucked since took over. He has drafted shifty wide receivers,. Every 3rd pick is wasted on bust running back or kicker. He needs to step down or be fired at the end of the year.

Its been nearly 10 years but people still act like Lynch is the one who has final say on draft picks

We knew coming into this season that Yorks wanted to get cheaper. You don't cheaper by giving away premium draft picks.
This was always going be a transitional year.
This comment is 100% spot on. The team had two very good drafts (when they had all their picks). They have been planning to have another next year. With all the injuries, you can't hope to replace what they lost with 1 or 2 guys. This team is clearing all the dead cap stuff. Not sure why everyone is having a melt down, as the team is well run and positioned for long term success.

Then if he doesn't have any say in that, WTF do we need him for??

I laugh when hear our fans complain about Lynch and Kyle. Look around the league and see how most other teams have done in those years since Lynch and Kyle were hired. Obviously KC and the Ravens have been better and Philadelpia too. Maybe the Rams. Other than that we've seen constant coaching and GM changes around the league and most end poorly. The Niners hav ebeen competivie every season since these 2 rebuilt a horrible team. The only times they've failed to get into the playoffs was when they were hit hard with injuries. All but 4 or 5 teams would gladly take this duo.

While I certainly agree on the o-line being this regimes black eye, I don't agree with firing Lynch. Overall he has been very good and I cannot think of anyone else being obviously better (especially with Kyle). The injury s**t is the real elephant in the room and the league needs to make sure the next cba includes more offseason work (and less roids lol) A man can dream....
Now I do think they need to draft two pass rushers and two o line in the top 6 picks every year... its just ridiculous.

Hes a figurehead for PR and a peoples person. Kyle isn't. When Ricky got shot, who went to hospital ? John, not Kyle. Whenever there is need for some personal interaction on people level, John is there. John is very good at speaking and got clout as a former HoF player.
Kyle runs the show though. He is the one who brought Lynch in and Lynch had zero experience back then. Kyle is not easy to work with and will butt heads with an established GM if there is power struggle. Lynch is under Kyle and Kyle has Belichick like power. Sure, they have scouts and they have boards and Lynch is involved. But its silly to think Kyle doesnt have a final say on picks, especially when it comes to offense.
I dont see Kyle ever letting go of Lynch and staying. Kyle is a very conservative person and always surrounds himself with people he trusts, almost to a fault. If Lynch is ever let go (which again I dont see)....the new GM will be someone promoted within and again totally subversive to Kyle.
This time, I dont fault the FO. They said what their plan was during the draft, in the FA period and then preseason. And so far theyve been consistent. We will see the results next season (which will have much harder schedule going against AFC west) when we will shed cap and some rookies and second year players hopefully grow up.

did LYNCH not participate BIG in this year's Trade Market because he believes which ever player he trades for will just get injured and be out for the next 2 years that he rather just keep all the picks and continue to draft them BUSTS??
UNBELIEVABLE !!!

Probably would of been a bad look to be sellers with our current record. So they did the next best option and just sat on their hands and figure out what to do in the offseason.

The Rams. Very young D with loads of talent. Great picks at WR and HB and OL.

I wonder how the locker room feels. At least 1 known name to show that you're not meh about this season.
Hope I'm wrong but I wouldn't be surprised for the season to start turning south.

I'm not trying to troll I really am not. I'm just super pissed off at the nothingness. And from what I've read from your post, Terry Donahue and Trent Baalke could've done all those things mentioned, it really does sound like excuses.
Under this regime we have witnessed a ton of bad seasons, injuries and draft misses. Every draft from Solomon Thomas, Rueben Foster, Javon Kinlaw, Trey Lance +4 picks spent have done this franchise in. Changes need to be made, we're never gonna win a Super Bowl by being conservative.
