We can still make the playoffs this year, but this team is not yet built for a SB. We are getting closer and it's nice to see so many young players getting good experience and learning. Let's hope for another strong draft in April 2026.
But to win a SB, you are always going to come up against at least one, but normally several very strong D-Lines, and our O-Line appears unable to run block against those Defenses. If we can't run that well, then chances of winning the SB are very slim, not impossible, but quite unlikely. Also, our pass rush sometimes looks anemic, so it needs a boost next year as well. The newbies Williams, West and Collins are doing fairly well so far though.,....nice to see that.
I still think the arrow is up for this team, and am anxious to see what the team make-up is for 2026.
This front office was getting bashed this past offseason but honestly they made the right call. They accepted that our window closed on February 11, 2024 and were looking towards opening up the next one rather than just desperately pushing more chips into the middle to try to keep that last window open a crack.
Will reach out to him to come out of retirement in December a game or two before playoffs so he could knock off some rust
