I don't think we'll do it in the Round 1 unless one of the top OTs fall to us. I think they will draft some in the later rounds though.

We don't know how the question was phrased. Maybe he was asked about center and had to respond.

I would be shocked if we finally draft a OT in round 1. I'm expecting a DL at #11.

Could very well be a WR or DB for all
we know. History says it's a DL selection at #11.

They typically don't throw players under the bus. There were a couple of exceptions I think. Maybe Petis. Maybe Jimmy G but they will draft the center they want and then call it "competition" and the draft guy will win.

John isn't gonna be a dick to Brendel pre-draft and he isn't gonna show his poker hand either.

Stop with this coping. The 49ers lowballed him on a one year prove it deal thinking nobody was going to give him a multiyear contract that paid him well. The Broncos did and he accepted the offer. Then the 49ers tried to spin the narrative by claiming they outbid the Broncos AFTER he accepted.
