Around he league they want him and are willing to shell out big bucks. Just the WZ doesn't want him. Watch and see LG get worse too. It's coming soon.

When you're about to sign your QB to a big deal and you haven't got a lot of cap space, you can't be signing too many players. Plus they have 12 draft picks so they must feel it's a chance to get younger and shed some expensive players. It was bound to happen eventually.

BAD NEWS: The 49ers are literally getting rear-ended (think of another word that starts with a B and ends with a D) in free agency
GOOD NEWS: The losses are due to the fact that the 49ers drafted extremely well, especially in the late rounds.

There is a lot of talent leaving SF. This includes some key players in the last run to the Super Bowl. But I also know that Shana-Lynch probably have replacements in mind. These two have drafted extremely well. They have nailed draft after draft after draft. Were there some brain farts in some of those drafts? Yes, without a doubt. Trey Lance was the biggest. There were others.

But they made up for those brain farts by drafting extraordinarily well on the back end. As much as I HATE to see Hufanga leave, I also know that Lynch will find a replacement in the draft. As much as I hate to see Jaylon Moore leave, it's probably a sign that the 49ers will address this position in the upcoming draft. Which is something that most 49er fans want.

Imagine seeing what unfolded last year and wanting to re-sign Aaron Banks for over $70+ million

Last year we signed Floyd and Gross-matos. Combined they got as much as Danielle Hunter got. Stop pissing away money on backups. Pay the premier players and draft the backups. This TE we just got isn't worth learning his name. Certainly not buying his jersey or any in 2025 by the looks of it.
