Nick Wagoner says a day 3 draft pick and perhaps another late-round pick would probably be enough for the 49ers to trade Deebo Samuel

Nick also mentions the 49ers signing a veteran free agent along the lines of Amari Cooper, Robert Woods, or Darius Slayton would make sense for… pic.twitter.com/oVNd2joAZb

That #11 pick is a premium asset compared to the #28/29 picks that the Lions/Commanders have. But after the draft, those picks will all be used and everyone will just have future picks with unknown slots. A 2026 Commanders 1st could be seen as just as valuable as a 2026 49ers 1st.
If the Browns can make it work in March before the draft, then yes, we have some leverage. Otherwise, I think he's a Commander or Lion (their current 1st rounders being low is the ONLY reason he might not be, IMHO. A low 20's pick just isn't that enticing for the Browns).
The longer the Browns wait the more stuff changes for sure. Teams will also fill up their rosters (including pass rushers) teams overall prefer to move known assets compared to future picks.
teams like DC/DET are one QB injury away from drafting top 10.
I would assume if a deal gets done it would be before the draft.

Don't want to lose good talent...but wouldn't mind another 3rd round pick.

This.
Many panicked when Peters left.
Last years draft was the best in many years.
I'm confident we'll have another.

I think it comes down to how Browns are going to confront their screw-up. They had one of the best roster before signing Watson and now they are f*cked up with his cap hit for the next 2-3 years.
They have 2 options. Firstly, they can try to keep part of that roster and compete but with a cap hit of 73M for someone watching the games from home, without a QB, it's going to be near impossible to even reach the playoffs.
Or they can go rebuild mode ala Houston, from zero. Sell the best players (even if it means absorbing a cap hit of 35M) and get the most possible draft picks. If they are going this way they have to begin the rebuilding with this year's draft. It makes no sense to wait till next year's draft. So I think they will trade Garrett before mid-March (when a roster bonus is due, I think) or he won't be traded.
And if he's traded before mid March the 49ers have huge leverage with his 11th

i heard him on dre and he wasn't that committed either way. he just said he feels more likely than not. i don't see why tho. ppl who know the 49ers like the fanbase know the impact when dre is on the field with fred. he just came off a lost season with injury. i think we can get him done. i'd be kinda surprised if we moved off dre tbh.

Someone might pay him more in FA. He took a pretty team friendly deal previously. We will see, we'd all love him back.

They have the money, so unless they have major concern over Greenlaws injury or the money is just unreasonable , then that's not acceptable to not bring him back. If he does go I hope Saleh brings in Sherwood

NFL Insider Ian Rapoport eluded to the potential chance that Maxx Crosby could be traded this offseason:

"Crosby wants to win… Trading Crosby for a bounty of picks would be one way to expedite that process, and Crosby might welcome the change, particularly if it's to a playoff… pic.twitter.com/yptVtWWNP6

That's fine. Both injured and may never be the same. As instinctive as Hufanga is he is slow on the backend in coverage. Greenlaw may never be the same and struggled getting into form this year. Probably unfair and he will be better next year. But his injury was serious and he may not have the same speed, explosiveness and durability anymore. We need to replace both and I'm fine with that. Get younger, faster and more healthy at those positions.
