Even if it doesn't involve any firsts?

It will absolutely require #11 at a minimum. Every other team can beat our offer otherwise. We could come up with a nice package that doesn't involve 2026-2027 1sts though.
Idk about that, it's not who ever gives up the most.. it's whoever MG wants to go to

Why? Does he have a no trade clause?

No, but he could say "I'm not extending with that team, and I'm not playing without an extension."

He does have two years left on his current contract, and normally players who do the above only have one year, but if there's a player who could get away with having this leverage with two years remaining, it's a player like Garrett.

With that said, I don't think Garrett would refuse to play for us. He's on the record saying he "wants to play for a contender" and "wants to play for a team that already has a QB." As much as half this fanbase loves to dunk on this team, we were literally a 4th and 1 from winning the Lombardi one year ago. As much as half this fanbase loves to dunk on him, we DO have a QB. So we check both of his boxes. Teams like the Raiders (who are way too high up on the betting odds—Vegas bias/connection maybe?) check neither.

What up with the DeAngelo Hall interview... and what up with Daniel Bullocks

This, plus he has no guaranteed money left on his current contract iirc, so if he somehow decided to play on a new team without a new contract and got hurt I think he's fudged. He's looking out for himself as he should.
Wide receiver might be the biggest need now. Deebo will be gone; JJ is going into the last year of his deal; BA is recovering from injury and for the second year in a row will miss otas, camp and preseason. They basically just have Pearsall, who looks promising. Cowing is a JAG until he shows something.

Those Tee Higgins rumors, tho. 👀

Um, surely JJ in the last year of his contract will be trying to impress either his current team or any potential suitor? So not sure how you can write him off. There is still a need but I think you exaggerate it. I think the team will extend him.

I'd give JJ a nice fat extension now.

He's going to want starting money given his success play XWR last year. It's going to be interesting if he stays playing outside this season because he's clearly proven he can start.

Dude is going to get big-time paid if he hits free agency and repeats another 2024 season as a starting XWR.

Would imagine they try to extend Jennings before UFA opens. Need to keep a contested catch guy in the mix. But if they can't get it done long term with JJ then I can def see them going for Higgins. Also, Tyler Warren is very much in the mix.
Continue to build in the trenches. We need the best front 7 in football as well as an OL that is a strength and not a liability
