John Lynch - 49ers GM

I just don't think we are as bad as our record shows. Cutting out the crap and signing a handful of quality players, which we have, and add in actual quality game plans and we are going to be competitive.

Our biggest issues have been horrible offense and injuries. We now have good skill players and a middle of the pack defense. We need a qb or quality play from our stop gap. I think we are going to see a tremendous improvement from a
Coaching standpoint. Sorta how we did with harbaugh. We were always competitive besides a few games.

i think winning our division although far fetched seems more likely than a wildcard to me. other than the Seahawks this division is pretty bad, and they seemed to be teetering on the brink of implosion last year.

What if we signed Poe or Brandon Williams, Hightower, and Pryor or Jeffrey. Filled rest of needs and depth through the draft. Are we competitive for a playoff spot? Assuming Cousins trade is made.

AJ Bouye looks to be headed to Philly or staying in Houston. Much rather sign Dre Kirkpatrick and save some of this cap space.

I think they'd need to get some serious pass rush help for that to be true.

Let's get Poe/Williams NT and Tretter too for our Center! DB class is deep and LEO,RB and WR by way of the draft. Nice job Shanalynch!

Granted looks good on paper but a good start to a new regime.
I like the Malcom Smith move too.
Got the best FB too in the league.
Got a solid stud WR and a speedster in Goodwin.
We needed a QB as we have none for depth. Can't be upset with a 2 yr deal for Hoyer. Either way it adds depth which is what we need

Ease up the expectations there buddy. This team still needs to adjust to the tough offense to learn and who knows how good Saleh is.

I'm awake with extra batteries in tow on the phone with a ton of Mt Dew on hand to keep me going! Keep going Lynch & Shanahan!!!

Love the Kyle Juszcyzk signing. My favorite so far.

Feeling "meh" about Malcolm Smith. But we need depth players to round out the roster. It just depends on the contract.
