Guys, we've signed 4-5 C-level players. We had $100 million in cap room. Let's not get too excited until we get some real difference makers in the building.

Juszczyk is a B signing, minimum

Garcon and Juscscskjjshk are B+ at least.

I agree with Jasta and they are even saying so on SirusXM NFL Radio. Pat Kirwin and Jim Miller where highly complimentary with all our potential announced signings!

something going on with Trent Brown? Trade? Just looking at the latest tweets between he, tiller and staley

Tiller and Marcus Martin both in that pick, Martin was released and I think I read Tiller gone as well.

Correct
Tiller was cut????

And it's a big upgrade from F.

Lol, everyone who is reportedly signing tomorrow is a real difference maker considering what the team was last season.
We will probably see names that haven't been reported sign tomorrow when allowed. I doubt the media has caught every verbal agreement.

Why shouldn't we be excited? Its not like any of us are screaming "SUPER BOWL!!". We are just excited to see them doing SOMETHING and filling a few of the holes they need to fill.

as for "C-Level players", how do you figure? Kyle Juszczyk is one of if not THE best FB in the NFL and this is a team that will use the FB ALOT. Garcon is a very good player who knows Kyles offense. Hoyer is a perfect stopgap/backup for a team with no QBs. Goodwin...who knows but that speed has my attention.

Point being people can be excited to BEGIN the journey back to relevancy and today is a good start. LONG way to go and I don't think anyone is kidding themselves otherwise.

To this point.. Wot a freakin great GM. Hard to believe the vast difference between this year's Niners & ths last few years Niners... HoooWeee!

He's only a great GM if these moves payoff. If these guys underperform or flat out bust, people will be calling for his head in no time.

right now no matter how it works out i am just really happy that we are actually trying to compete again. Baalke was such a slum lord it was hard to watch. say what you will about Lynch's future but he ain't f**kin around on the fast turn around.

I'm not hating on either signing. I like both players. But we had $100m in cap space and it's not like either are game changers.

I'm just saying this was expected. We shouldn't be all over Lynch's nuts for simply signing a few decent players when we really had no other choice. Now if we get an Alshon Jeffery, Donta Hightower, AJ Bouye, etc, then we would actually have something to celebrate about.

Alshon Jeffrey we don't need now... not for the money he'll want anyway. Way too much risk. Garcon and Goodwin is a good sign we'll pass on him and pick up another in the draft or get Pryor with a bit of luck. Much, much better value.

Cover as many bases as possible so you can play the draft to your liking. LEGO!
Better than last year! Remember baalke?

" we going to sign players this FA" and he signed nobody.
