Domata Peko getting a look now. One thing they know is our run D was awful. They're making sure they bring guys in to fix that.

Brought in a CB and DT, have been linked to Peko and McClain as well. I don't think they're avoiding it. This is a talent starved team and they need help on both sides. No QB, Kerley was the only legit WR...they need help there too

So we should sign defensive talent first then when that is taken care of, we attack the market for offensive talent ?

We have so many younger guys on defense that we took early in the draft Ward, Armstead, Buckner, Harold, Tartt, Reid plus mid round guys like Blair and Lynch I am hoping the issue with the defense was on the coaching level and not the talent level. Not to say that picking up Hightower, Minter, Campbell would be a bad thing but I am hoping the defense can turn it around without much personnel turnover.

The draft coming up is filled with defensive studs. why break the bank when you know you can get a great defensive player thats younger and cheaper? we need weapons on offense and free agency is a good place to get some
