I should be pissed at him getting another d line guy with bad knees who most likely will not play for us this year when there were maybe better options .... but i am numb to lynch doing dip s**t things like that. he did some good.. but whiffing on two glaring areas of need was dumb.. you got a young qb. you want and need a good center

Typical of Brick AFTER Brick Brothers... taking players that they like or can use on certain plays instead of building a team..

Hey, how are you feeling about the secondary? Similar to me with the OL, I would presume.

Not great. The two corners have upside but have considerable work to do. Safety is not good. A super slow Harris clone being the only addition is not good at all. At least on the O line they added pieces that could develop into something.

Need to find a way to get Matthieu at this point. Cut Jimmy if you have to.

Its gotten them to 2 NFCC's and a SB over the past 3 seasons. Have a little faith.

I'm right there with you on that concern for sure. Hopefully Trey and Kyle help transcend the OL and the pass rush transcends the secondary.

PS: Agreed on Mathieu...Tretter too even if Mack stays. I want veterans for Trey at least in year 1. I'm assuming Tretter is healthy. So odd he'd be out there.

They have to be available when you are drafting. Dohnovan is a good prospect, we will see what he can be in the future.

That may be asking a bit much.

Tretter isn't coming to be a backup. Wishful thinking.

I did a Breakdown of each of the Picks and also some of the bigger name UDFA's we picked up. Let me know what you guys think! As always as a long time webzoner, I appreciate any and all support for my Channel. Would love to do work for the webzone too. Who would I contact for that?

Considering we picked late in all rounds and no 1st round, this was a good draft. A lot of depth, expect solid competition #IronSharpensIron

He will be a C somewhere, not here at rg.

If the 9ers want to sign a vet rg it should be Laurent Duvernay-Tardif

Yeah. I have more faith In the secondary than I do the O-Line.
This offseason is, by far, Jon Lynch's worst as a General Manager. Deebo wants out for whatever reason and the team doesn't know if he'll play again for the team or if they'll be able to get anything close to value on the trade market. JimmyG is taking his sweet time recovering on the 49ers dime in an obvious attempt to compel the 49ers to release him. They didn't have picks in either of the first two rounds of the draft. Their center is contemplating retirement and there is no current replacement for him on the roster. Same situation at safety.

There is still a lot of time for everything to shake out, and it's possible one or two of these rookies or Trey Lance will make all of us forget about this offseason, but right now it's a pile of dog crap. The only way this gets worse is if Nick Bosa won't do an extension either.

Lynch did note they were upstairs reviewing free agent options for C so that would make sense. I think we know who one of those is.

"There's a free agent class that's coming along that might include some candidates there as well," Lynch said. "
