Kinda like how all 9er fans mocked the Rams for using all that draft capital on trading for big name players. How that work out.?

I guess JL feels he no longer needs a loaded roster to carry their QB anymore.

Saints are unable to sign any of their free agents this year. They are losing their all pro LT and the pro bowl S bc they literally don't have the space to sign them. The cap isn't a myth, but there are ways to manipulate It, ala the Rams/Chiefs

Because they are waiting on Deshaun Watson. Which is pretty much all they need to make the playoffs. You don't need Trent Williams or a Pro Bowl Safety to make the playoffs.

A consolation next year. We need to make our team better now. Lynch has not closed anything yet. Maybe it's the ownership. When Eddie ran the show we always had hope we were players. I know salary cap blah blah, we had Policy make things happen.

Im confident we will hear this statement over and over " we met with the players agent, discussed picking up X player, but they just were not a fit with the 49ers".

On Jimmy we're screwed if something doesn't go down tomorrow.

It's sad because what they really should be doing is stacking their roster and taking advantage of their QB on a rookie deal. It's how the Seahawks and Chiefs won their SB's. What's the point of having a cheap QB if you are not going to load up the roster.

I expected DJ to leave. Tomlinson I was hopeful but not surprised. What surprised me was not being aggressive signing a starting G to replace him. The market is VERY thin now. I don't really see a way to improve the line from last year given where we're picking.

We'll eventually win that super bowl cause we do it the right way.
