I don't think he can be a star because of a few catches in any game. I know he can be a star because I watched it last year with my own two eyes. Everyone wants these players to be on a linear trajectory to greatness immediately. These are people they will go through ruts which is exactly what is happening to Brandon. He will be a star. Odell had a few great years and an amazing catch that's now been replicated 100 times. He has done absolutely nothing in years. He is a locker room cancer and him and his dad are both f**king babies. Again hard pass we don't need him and his antics.

He has 1k in 2019 and then tore his ACL last yr (while on pace for another 1K).

why people keep making up that he's a locker room cancer like they're in there is beyond me. There is no real truth to that and even his latest teammates said it was b******t.

only whiny babies are fans that have no clue who he is, have never spoken to the man and are upset because he didn't kill it on their fantasy team.

GO NINERS!

Nothing Lynch can do if any of the 11 teams in front of us claim him, complain if the teams behind 12 claim him

The fanbase wanted to trade Aiyuk just a week ago, now he's a star again because he put up 40 yards against the Bears? OBJ isn't washed, his QB just sucks.

Most of the fanbase are morons IMO, but Aiyuk has the potential to be a star, for gods sake, people called Deebo a bust last year, now they love him again, you don't give up on Aiyuk after less than 2 seasons. Not to mention that this happens every time a "big" name comes available, Odell is being waived, now the fans want him, despite the fact he'll take PT away from Aiyuk, cost a s**t ton of money to keep long term, and also has injury issues/concerns.

Good post AB and just to add he has quit on 100% of the teams that signed his paychecks thus far. He has quit on his coaches. Quit on his fans. Quit on his quarterbacks. Quit on his teammates. Quit on his routes. Ask any Browns fan. In fact I'll end this with a post from the Browns fan forum:

"Nobody wants to see his selfish, moronic behavior rewarded, I'd love to see this ******** shunned and humilated for being the selfish ******** that he is, but at the end of the day what's best is to ignore the boorish, childish, low IQ stunt, cut his sorry **** and push forward, to say this guy is a plague is a gross understatement, Good luck you selfish ********."

Hahahaha a browns fan, super dramatic and not in the locker room. Please, how about his actual teammates.

let's stop acting like fans are logical and not emotional/whiny.

Right?! Lol there were "O-B-J" chants in the Browns stadium a few weeks ago, but he's a quitter and cancer because some fan on a forum says so

It's the same fans in here that are rock hard over Jimmy….JG is reportedly good friends with OBJ lol.

OBJ wanted to play here and with the QB they love so much…talk about being hypocrites

OBJ will rebound like Stefon Diggs did once he got away from Stefanski

Diggs was already good in Minnesota, he just wanted the ball more. This has Moss going from Oakland to NE with the right team tho

The bigger issue I have with the idea of Odell is Aiyuk's playing time will be reduced, plus what happens when Deebo gets more looks? Right now Deebo is our offense, I'm not confident in Odell TBH, and I hate the idea of giving less PT to Aiyuk.

Deebo isn't gonna make it a full season with all the targets he's getting. Run a couple more 11 personnel groups a game. Let BA play in the slot more.

we might be starting Sanu/BA this week because Deebo is hurt. Why is everyone cool with that?

Not like Odell can help this week, he won't be claimed till Tuesday, eligible next week.

Aiyuk needs to get more PT and produce, and we should be fine with Deebo & Aiyuk in the future, with the run game. I just don't like the idea of claiming him, and Aiyuk gets put back on the bench, and then we have a WR set to make $15M the next 2 seasons, that will want a new deal likely next year, the whole point of drafting Trey, and cutting JG next year is to be able to retain our own(Bosa, Deebo, Dre, Aiyuk, Kinlaw or anyone who breaks out), I doubt Odell will want to play on his current salary, or agree to a new deal that pays him only $15M a yr, he's gonna want to be paid like the top WR, which IMO, he isn't the best, heck idk if he's top 5, I'd take Adams, DK, AJ Brown, Godwin, and Hopkins for sure over Odell, I'd also take Justin Jefferson, Deebo, Michael Thomas, Keenan Allen, Lockett, Allen Robinson, Stefon Diggs, and even Adam Thielen over Odell.

OBJ will end up in Baltimore!

I'd be crazy if he went to the Rams to like everyone else

I don't need to be in the locker room to know this guy isn't the leader young players need. He quits on teams when he doesn't get his way its documented. We are a run first team with kittle, deebo, and ayuik who is coming around. We also have mid level quarterback play right now and don't throw the ball deep. How long before he is b***hing about his role here. You trust he'd just be happy yo lucky being the 3-4th option (run, deebo, kittle at minimum)? You are joking yourself if you don't think he'd be crying in a year or two here.

Every time the fans want to lose, like at the end of crappy seasons to improve draft slots, we end up winning. We will probably win this especially if Murray is hobbled.

LOL at him being considered a generational talent. That's Julio. Very good player with nice trajectory at one point sure, but I'd say generational talent is throwing the term around pretty loosely.

I can assure you if teams viewed him as generational the browns 100% would've got a trade done rather than having to cut him.

imagine believing a player isnt great because the team around him is complete garbage
Julio is awesome, but his situations and QB in Atlanta were wayyy better than the dumpster fire Giants and Browns. I know the Niners won't go after OBJ because, niners gonna niner. So not worth the energy
